As his lawyer Rifat Konjic confirmed for Dnevni Avaz, Goran Salihović, the dismissed and embarrassed Chief State Prosecutor, will be questioned next week in Tuzla, where he is getting physical activity treatments at the UKC Tuzla.
Physical activity treatments
Konjić explained that a new request was sent from the Prosecutor's Office of BiH for the trieal of Salihović. To our question where the dismissed Chief Prosecutor will be questioned, Konjić replied:
- We received a call, but it is certain that Salihović will not be questioned in the Prosecutor's Office of BiH due to his leg injuries. I think it will be at the UKC Tuzla, where he is getting physical activity treatments.
Salihović's court invitation was sent after almost two months. The last time he was supposed to be questioned was on August 9th, but he informed his lawyer Konjić that he fell and broke both heels, which caused the judicial examination to be postponed. However, the medical confirmation that he was injured has never been officially published.
Expert opinion
Many suspected that Salihović just wanted to get out of the interrogation, because this was the second time that he maganed to avoid being questioned, all for the purpose of postponing the indictment and the court proceedings.
At the request of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, the opinion on his health was requested, after which medical experts have confirmed that Salihović can still give his statement, so the new call was finally addressed.Prosecution without comment
We have also contacted the Prosecutor's Office of BiH to tell us when and where Salihović will be questioned and whether a new request has been sent. However, we did not get any answer. Boris Grubešić, spokesman for the Prosecution, only stated that he had no comment on this issue.
