Security preparations for the visit of Pope Francis to Sarajevo on 6 June are being carried out in accordance with the planned schedule and in close cooperation of all the security agencies and services.
This was concluded today at the meeting of the Chief of Joint Staff of the Armed Forces Lieutenant General Ante Jeleč and Director of the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of Bosnia and Herzegovina Mirsad Vilić.
Director Vilić, who is also head of the Sub-committee for Security / Operational HQ of the visit under the motto "Peace be with you - Sarajevo 2015" and General Jeleč exchanged information on the work and functioning of the Sub-committee, with active participation of members of the BiH Armed Forces.

At the meeting Vilić informed the general about the responsibilities of the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as jobs and tasks that are performed daily within the various spheres of activity.
He stressed the role and importance of the Directorate in the security system of BiH, highlighting the activities undertaken relating to capacity building in terms of equipping and training of officers and personnel, said the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
