- We are ready to welcome and mark the 20th anniversary of genocide in Srebrenica in the best and peaceful way, stated Municipal Mayor of Srebrenica Ćamil Duraković today.

He met in Srebrenica today with Director of Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of BiH Mirsad Vilić and President of the Subcommittee for Security Rahman Alić.

Duraković stated that the meeting was held to once again analyze all activities, a few days before the beginning of some important activities of the Organizing Committee for marking July 11, the 20th anniversary of genocide against Bosniaks of the UN Safe Zone Srebrenica.

“They informed me there is nothing to indicate that marking of the 20th anniversary of genocide in Srebrenica could be endangered,“ stated Duraković after the meeting.
