Coronavirus: Bosnia reports 1,279 new cases, 34 deaths

Another 1,279 coronavirus cases and 34 fatalities have been confirmed in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the last 24 hours, according to healthcare authorities.

The new results came out of 3,303 lab test for coronavirus.

The country has confirmed the total of 86,710 infections since the epidemic outbreak. Of that number, 55,171 cases were reported in the Federation (FBiH), 29,735 in Republika Srpska (RS) and 1,804 in Brcko District (BD) – three separate administrative units running their healthcare systems independently.

To this date, 2,576 fatalities were reported among Covid-19 patients across Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The total of 414,856 lab tests has been conducted in the country since the epidemic outbreak and 51,068 patients have recovered.
