A man with initials M.P. (1972) shot at two members of his family this morning in the Kiseljak area, and as "Avaz" reports, he allegedly attempted suicide. According to our information, he tried to shoot at police and did not want to surrender.

According to initial information from "Avaz", he killed his mother-in-law, while his wife was taken to hospital and doctors are fighting for her life.

- On 18.05.2026, at 07.55 hours, the Kiseljak Police Station received a telephone report from an unidentified person that a firearm had been used in Jehovac, municipality of Kiseljak. Police officers from Kiseljak Police Station were sent to the scene, who confirmed the allegations of the report, namely that a firearm was used by M.P., born in 1972, from Kiseljak, against 2 members of his immediate family (female), one of whom was fatally injured, while the other was seriously wounded.

Members of the Special Police Units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs SBK/KSB Travnik are currently working on locating, finding and depriving the perpetrator of the aforementioned criminal act of liberty.
