In B&H, another 1,296 are newly infected with coronavirus, 59 people died

During the last 24 hours, 1,296 newly infected with coronavirus were reported in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Of that number, 885 in FB&H, 370 in Republic of Srpska and 41 in Brčko District. At least 59 people have died, 27 from the FB&H, 28 from the RS and four in the Brčko District.

2,832 samples were reported to the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH, of which 885 were positive for the virus.

New cases have been registered in all cantons in the Federation of BiH. A total of 298,034 samples have been tested so far, and the virus has been confirmed in 62,606 cases.

As of today, 42,245 patients have been cured in the Federation of B&H, and in the past 24 hours, 647 patients haver recovered. Currently 18,591 cases are active.

In the past 24 hours, 27 new deaths were reported to the Public Health Institute of the Federation of B&H. As of today, the total number of deaths in the Federation of B&H is 1,770.


Four patients died in the Brčko District

Today, 41 new cases of coronavirus infection were registered in the Brčko District of B&H. Four patients died, two men and two women.

In Republic of Srpska, 370 new cases of coronavirus infection have been reported in the last 24 hours, and 28 people have died, the RS Institute of Public Health said.


1,000 laboratory samples were tested in RS

A total of 1,000 laboratory samples were tested.

When it comes to deaths from coronavirus, there are 14 men and 14 women of older and middle age (the youngest person is a man 39 years old), of which seven are from Banja Luka, three from Bosanska Dubica, Doboj and Bosanska Gradiška, two each from Bijeljina and Laktaši and one person each from Srbac, Bosanski Novi, Derventa, Teslić, Prnjavor, Zvornik and Lopar.

Of the 370 new cases, 183 are men and 187 are women, of whom 48 are younger, 241 are middle-aged and 81 are elderly. So far, 32,546 cases of infection have been confirmed in Republic of Srpska, and a total of 1,279 people have died.
