Mass voluntary testing for coronavirus begins in Slovenia today, it was announced from the Slovenian Ministry of Health.

Testing will be free, and those who want to be tested must bring an ID card and health card, maintain a social distance and wear a mask.

The results of rapid tests that will be used during testing from today in Slovenia are considered equivalent to the results obtained by PCR tests.

Mass testing will be available in all major Slovenian cities, and more testing sites will be provided in areas where the epidemiological situation is worst.

Mass testing will be carried out until Thursday, December 24th, Slovenian media reports.
