The leader of the Party of Democratic Action, Bakir Izetbegović, spoke at a New Year's press conference at which he summed up the year that is coming to an end.

The entity governments responded well

Izebegović emphasized that this year was probably the most difficult for everyone due to the coronavirus pandemic, and that it was promising at the beginning.

He said that the Council of Ministers of B&H almost did not react to the crisis caused by the coronavirus.

- They were late with the adoption of the budget, indolence, the migrant crisis, it was left to only one ministry, pushing migrants to places where the majority of Bosniak population is... SNSD entered the coalition to weaken the state and strengthen the entity - said Izetbegović.

He looked back to the numbers that refer to the economy, the indebtedness of our country, the amount of income, the departure of young people ... and he emphasized that there are only bigger threats for BiH to become a country of the elderly, where there will be no one to earn a pension.

Disrespect towards state

- An expression of disrespect towards the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina and its institutions are obviously coordinated invitations to the presidents of the parties that Belgrade and Zagreb want to treat as representatives of the people, said Izetbegović in his New Year's address.

- Russia also joined in the capacity of the chairman of the Security Council with the mentioned debate on the 25th anniversary of the Dayton Peace Agreement, to which they invited Čović, me and Dodik. I refused to go on such visits and debates, because I would agree with the thesis that B&H is a simple sum of three peoples, which is far from the truth about the essence and spirit of this country. B&H is much more than that, and it will be represented by state institutions and democratically elected representatives - Izetbegović reiterated his earlier views.

He says he will not do anything without an agreement with Željko Komšić, a coalition partner.

- I think that fundamental changes will have to be made that would enable everything that the SDA and HDZ insisted on, and even the DF. I will not do anything without an agreement with Mr. Komšić, this is the agreement from the beginning of the coalition. That is acceptable for him as well - said Izetbegović.
