Last night, disturbance of public order and peace occurred in the area of ​​the migrant center in Blažuj, there was an attack on police officers, where two police officers suffered minor injuries, confirmed today for FENA the spokesman for the Ministry of Interior of the Sarajevo Canton Mirza Hadžiabdić.

Several official police vehicles were damaged, as well as vehicles of the International Organization for Migration (IOM), the premises of the temporary reception center, computer and office equipment located in that center, owned by IOM.

Hadžiabdić said that the police were informed last night at around 8 pm that public order and peace had been disturbed by a fight and a gathering of several people of Asian origin - migrants in the premises of ​​the migrant center in Blažuj.

-Several police patrols were sent to the location, as well as members of the Center for Police Support with the aim of establishing public peace- said Hadžiabdić.

The on-duty prosecutor carried out the investigation at the scene.

-Further work continues on establishing and clarifying all circumstances with the aim of clarifying and documenting several criminal offenses, violent behavior, light bodily injury, preventing official persons from performing their duties, attacking an official in performing security duties, stealing and damaging someone else's property, etc.- Hadžiabdić pointed out.
