The HDZ B&H presidency discussed the current political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina at today’s session in Mostar, as well as report on the implementation of the recent Local Elections and political activities regarding the inter-party agreement on amendments to the B&H Election Law signed in Mostar.

The HDZ B&H presidency has found that the party, as well as the HNS coalitions, have achieved exceptional results in all areas throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina, despite "manipulative attempts by the unconstitutional and illegal Central Election Commission (CEC) of B&H to influence the real voting will and democratic rights in several key areas".

-Also, the CEC of B&H tried unsuccessfully to divert attention from the organized criminal attempt of Bosniak parties and the central institution for holding the election process by officially ending the election process in Mostar. In only 15 (out of 150) polling stations, serious criminal offenses of serious election fraud were established, where some parties received hundreds of votes, and individuals on the list had over 1000 preferences, which does not happen in several remaining authoritarian and dictatorial countries in the world- announced HDZ B&H.

The Presidency of the HDZ B&H called on the Prosecutor's Office of B&H to "react to all illegalities and criminal acts and legally sanction responsible individuals in the B&H CEC who damage the reputation of a key institution for holding election processes.

-This composition of the B&H CEC is deeply compromised from the very beginning it is legally illegal and it is not able to be a guarantor of democratic conditions of any electoral process in the future- HDZ pointed out.

The Presidency of HDZ B&H also discussed all activities of the Agreement on Amendments to the Election Law of B&H signed in Mostar with the SDA and international representatives.

-The radical narrative used by the representatives of the Bosniak parties about some kind of 'breaking the shackles' and so-called dictatorships of the 'minority over the majority' are gross violations of the B&H Constitution and violation of national relations between the constituent peoples of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina and all activities that follow on its path to full EU membership. B&H's election law is the key to the future and an imperative for all political options and there is no room to delay that kind of talks and final agreement that strengthens the sovereignty of European Bosnia and Herzegovina- it is said in the statement.

The Presidency of the HDZ B&H agreed on a unified position that the migrant crisis is still the main security problem and that announcements about the conscious threat to the security of the wider area, which the B&H Ministry of Security wants to implement through unilateral decisions, are inadmissible.
