HDZ B&H President Dragan Čović said yesterday that the new mayor of Mostar should be from the party that won the most votes. Today, SDA leader Bakir Izetbegović reacted to those statements.

As he stated in a Facebook post, there is no agreement between Dragan Čović and him regarding the election of the mayor of Mostar.

- Everything important for Mostar, including the election of leaders, will be agreed upon by the people of Mostar. As many times before, Dragan Čović is trying to present his wishes as an agreement. Once again, very clearly - there was no agreement, nor is there one. I have repeated several times, and I remain with that position, that it is time for the mayor of Mostar to be a Bosniak, and that should be Dr. Zlatko Guzin, who won the most individual votes in the elections - Izetbegović wrote on Facebook.

NE POSTOJI NIKAKAV DOGOVOR SA ČOVIĆEM, GRADONAČLENIK MOSTARA TREBA DA BUDE DR. ZLATKO GUZIN Ne postoji nikakav dogovor...
