An initiative to name one of the streets in the Montenegrin city of Berane after convicted war criminal Ratko Mladić is nothing but an insult to all Mladić's victims and to all victims of genocide, said today the B&H Presidency member Željko Komšić in a statement for FENA.

Komšič also underlined that it would be a slap in the face for all the honest citizens of Montenegro.

-Those who proposed it are no better than the war criminals. It is obvious that the new government in Montenegro is simply competing with the authorities in the smaller B&H entity in glorifying and celebrating genocide and glorifying war criminals. I sincerely hope that the rule of such people in Montenegro would not last because what they are doing does not lead to anything good- Komšić told FENA.
