District officials informed the Austrian Ambassador to B&H and the Supervisor about the plans and obligations of the authorities in the District as well as about the most important infrastructure projects.

The Mayor said that Austria is a country that is a great friend of B&H and that has been directly helping for centuries and as he emphasized, especially in the last few decades.

-At the meeting, we informed them about the short-term obligations we have set before us, especially in the legislative process, and we will soon pass a law on conflict of interest, which is very important in fulfilling our obligations and priorities in joining and membership in the European Union. We also informed them about our important infrastructure projects, among other things, the Brčko water supply project, i.e. the main transport pipeline, which was directly supported by the Austrian Embassy with over 450,000 EUR, thus confirming to be our great friend- said Kadrić.
