Mr. Bogić Bogićević will remain inscribed in golden letters in the history of Bosnia and Herzegovina. His role in the early 1990s and the great NO to the Milošević's regime paved the way for today's independent and internationally recognized Bosnia and Herzegovina, according to a statement from SBB councilors in Sarajevo's municipalities.

- Having that in mind, we express great regret over the fact that some individuals and groups got involved in political games at yesterday's session of the Sarajevo City Council, which resulted in Mr. Bogić Bogićević's withdrawal from the candidacy for mayor of Sarajevo.

-Respecting Mr. Bogićević's decision, we are aware that the capital of B&H will lose a lot by his resignation and the fact that he will not be a new mayor. Sarajevo as the capital of B&H in these tough times needed such person, to restore its political and international dignity, with great knowledge, experience and wisdom – they sttated.

They add that Bogić Bogićević once again proved that he is an intellectual with the attitude, "while all those who participated in yesterday's session of the City Council, on the other hand, showed all the disgrace that our political scene has reached."

- From the very beginning, SBB was in favor of the candidacy of Mr. Bogić Bogićević and through voting in municipal councils, even to its detriment, it supported the Four in order to have the capacity to vote for mayor. Great people and personalities did not deserve to be played with by their biography and author,by miserable local manipulators and conspirators who have a malignant influence on the political space through election manipulations and vote buying - said SBB councilors in Sarajevo's municipalities.
