Prosecutors of the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office entered the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo today after this judicial institution formed the case.

The activities were launched after two letters from doctors that appeared in public, in which they talk about the catastrophic condition at KCUS and states that respirators purchased by the company „Srebrna malina“ cannot be used to treat COVID patients.

The acting prosecutors who entered the KCUS are Mladen Vukojičić and Meliha Dugalija. They are currently in the COVID department.

A few hours earlier, a meeting was held between the Chief Prosecutors of the Prosecutor's Office of B&H, Gordana Tadić and Sabina Sarajlija, at which it was agreed that the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office would investigate allegations of respirators imported by "Srebrna malina" and that the SC Prosecutor's Office had already formed a case.

It was established that the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton, based on media reports, in accordance with its jurisdiction, formed a case related to a letter from a doctor from KCUS, but also the usability of respirators in the treatment of patients at KCUS, severe consequences for health and life patients, as well as other problems in the functioning of the so-called COVID department, in which they will act in the coming period - it was said.
