Chief Prosecutor Gordana Tadić had a meeting with officials of the International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals

At the meeting, the Chief Prosecutor presented the work and activities of the Prosecutor's Office of B&H in the past and this year, with an emphasis on cases in which cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office of the IRMCT was realized

The Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor's Office of B&H, Gordana Tadić, together with the Head of the Special Department for War Crimes Milanko Kajganić and his associates, held a working meeting with prosecutors at the International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals via video conference.

At the meeting, the Chief Prosecutor presented the work and activities of the Prosecutor's Office of B&H in the past and this year, with an emphasis on cases in which cooperation was established with the IRMCT Prosecutor's Office, cases previously submitted from the ICTY/ IRMCT through Category 2 cases or otherwise were cases of cooperation between the two prosecutors' offices.

The activities of the working meeting relate to the preparation of the report presented by the Chief Prosecutor of the IRMCT, Serge Brammertz, to the UN Security Council.

The Chief Prosecutor stressed the importance of regional co-operation in war crimes cases and the support of prosecutors at IRMCT in strengthening co-operation instruments.

The Prosecutor's Office of B&H and the Prosecutor's Office of the IRMCT have active and continuous cooperation in joint efforts to prevent impunity for war crimes.
