Eric Larson becomes an honorary citizen of SC

The ceremonial session of the Sarajevo Canton Assembly will be held today at the National Theater. At the event which is the part of the Day of Sarajevo Canton, the highest awards will be given to this year's laureates. Eric Larson, a senior adviser at the Anti-Corruption Office, has been named an honorary citizen of Sarajevo Canton.


Fight against corruption

Recognition is awarded to him for his outstanding contribution to the prevention and fight against corruption, selfless commitment to the implementation and upgrading of the anti-corruption system in SC and the development of international relations on the principles of solidarity and democracy.

Lawyer Ifet Feraget is the winner of the Sarajevo Canton Plaque. It will be presented to him in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the Bosnian society in the field of justice, for his responsibility and selfless commitment to the fight for truth and justice, and for the preservation of legal and moral principles.


Presentation of the plaque

The Sarajevo Canton Plaque will also be awarded to the company "Mih" from Sarajevo, in recognition of its contribution to the development of Sarajevo Canton in the field of economy, as well as for socially responsible business with the aim of developing awareness and caring for society and the environment.

The plaque will also be presented to the Taekwondo Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in recognition of many years of successful work, exceptional achievements and immeasurable contribution to the development of sports in the Sarajevo Canton and the affirmation of the state of B&H. The plaque is posthumously awarded to Belma Šoljanin in recognition of her outstanding contribution to spreading the idea of humanity, for her dedicated commitment in her efforts to provide significant support to the SC health system in the field of motherhood through her philanthropic work and commitment.
