Respectable doctor, academician Asim Kurjak started an avalanche of reactions after, as a guest on Face TV, he stated that he was not a mentor to the director of the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo, Sebija Izetbegović, and that she was not his student.

- It is true that she was with me, but only for a few months, during the war in B&H - said Kurjak.

She bought a doctor's topcoat

Izetbegović's education is shrouded in secrecy. In the biography of prof. Izetbegović it is stated that she specialized in gynecology and obstetrics. All this lasted from August 18th, 1994 to February 7th, 1996 in Zagreb. Otherwise, the specialization lasts four years.

While in Zagreb, Izetbegović lived with prof. dr. Aida Cviko, who lives in the USA today and is a respected expert in the field of pediatric pathology. Aida Cviko's ex-husband Muradif Pajt spoke for "Avaz" about the period of Sebija's life in Zagreb.

- I met her on November 20th, 1991, when Alija Izetbegović brought me to the first SDA Congress in Sarajevo. At that Congress, I also met my future wife. They lived together, in the same apartment which was owned by Salem Šabić. We got married just before the war started, and later, I think it was June 1992, my mother-in-law brought Sebija in Zagreb to live with us - Pajt told us.

In September of the same year, as he told us, he lent Sebija 4,500 KM for a master's degree. A few days later, she bought bought a doctor's topcoat with Sebija Izetbegović written on it.

- Since then, she has never gone to lectures again, I even doubt that she paid for that master's degree, to be honest, because you can buy a doctor's topcoat and put a name on it. She never returned my money, never mind. She went to Turkey in November. All the time, instead of going to the university, she spent her time in the club "Gradačac". It was a native club. She gave some lectures. She had nothing to do with science - Pajt told us.

A year later, as he goes onwith the story, he and his wife were preparing to leave for America. Wife Aida was collecting documentation to continue working there and she noticed that she was missing a master’s degree and a doctorate.

- She asked me where her master's degree was. I told her, "How do I know, I have nothing to do with it Aida." After a few days, she realized that Seka had taken it. I called Sebija and ask her, "Don't you happen to know where Aida's master's degree is?" She immediately started apologizing to me - "I'm sorry, please forgive me" she told me. She said she accidentally took it with her. I said: "No problem, I'm boooking a first flight to Turkey and I'm coming" - said Pajt.

He then went to Turkey with his wife and contacted Sebija Izetbegović. After a few hours, she did not come to the agreed place of meeting, but, as Pajt says, "some guy" came.

No reaction

- He brings us a bag containing a master's degree and a doctorate. When the wife opened the bag to see what was inside, she noticed that the first few pages were missing, on which the names of the mentors, members of the commission, were written… My wife just looked at me sadly and everything was clear to me. I’m not saying she copied or plagiarized my wife’s master’s degree, but that she stole the work. I don't know what she did with it and why she tore the pages.

It is symptomatic that she saw academician Asim Kurjak once or twice in her life, and that it was stated that he was her mentor. Everything that Mr. Kurjak said, word for word, is what I have been saying for years. She never denied either my claims or Mr. Kurjak's, she never sued for defamation. Neither she nor Bakir nor their bots. She has little to do with science. She was not legally entitled to apply for a master's degree at all because she had not passed any exams. It's all a forgery - Pajt told us.

Her range is health center

Pajt last saw Sebija Izetbegović in 1992 in Zagreb.

- I have no contact with her. Her range is to work in health center. I know her as a scribe, a quack. I know her as a criminal, because those are the crimes she did - said Pajt.
