The Service for Foreigners’ Affairs has undertaken operational activities this morning aimed at controlling the movement and stay of migrants in the area of the City of Bihać at two locations, Kamenica and Zegarska Alley, where migrants gathered and stayed in makeshift accommodation in abandoned buildings.

Inspectors of the Service for Foreigners' Affairs found 187 migrants, citizens of Pakistan, at the mentioned locations, and they were relocated, accommodated and taken care of in the temporary reception center Lipa.

Currently, medical examination, identification and registration activities are being carried out, as well as accommodation in the isolation part of the temporary reception center Lipa due to Covid protective measures.

The implementation of these activities is a continuation of the coordination of the Service for Foreigners’ Affairs with local authorities in order to better manage migration processes in the Una-Sana Canton, and such activities will be continued in the coming period, the Service for Foreigners’ Affairs said.
