Portuguese Presidency of the Council of the European Union has updated a new list of safe countries with a low COVID-19 risk, which includes Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Kosovo, Radio Free Europe learns.

The ambassadors of the EU member states approved the list, and this decision will take effect by the end of this week, which means that the citizens of these countries, including those who have not been vaccinated, can travel to the EU member states.

At a meeting on Wednesday, the permanent representatives of the EU member states discussed the latest proposal of the list, which includes Canada, Moldova, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), in addition to the Western Balkan countries.
