President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who is paying an official visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina, has arrived in Sarajevo.

According to the protocol, Erdogan is scheduled to land at the Sarajevo International Airport at 11 AM, after which he will head to the Kovači cemetery, where he will visit the grave of the first President of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Alija Izetbegović.

Erdogan will perform the Friday prayer at the Baščaršija Mosque, which he will also ceremoniously open after the completed restoration, which was financed by the General Directorate of Waqfs of the Republic of Turkey.

The Turkish president will be welcomed with military honors at 5.30 PM in front of the building of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, after which he will hold a meeting with the chairman and members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
