AUTHORITIES REMAIN SILENT

"Recording" affair: Ranko Debevec does not want to answer whether Mehmedagić had a court order to eavesdrop on "Avaz" journalist

In two audio recordings published by the "Avaz" portal on September 17th and 18th, Osmica tells Tadić that he knows who Aščerić (Aščić) is calling and who he is talking to

Mehmedagić and Debevec. Avaz

M. Aščić

Ranko Debevec, the president of the Court of B&H, does not want to answer whether Osman Mehmedagić, the director of the Intelligence and Security Agency (ISA), had a court order to follow and eavesdrop on the journalist of "Dnevni Avaz" Miralem Aščić.

Namely, in the two audio recordings published by the "Avaz" portal on September 17th and 18th, in which Osmica talks with the Chief State Prosecutor Gordana Tadić and her Deputy Ozrenka Nešković, he informs them precisely that he knows with whom the "Avaz" journalist Aščerić is talking to ( Aščić), who he calls and how he gets information.

Directly admitted that during the conversation

- I have a service that analyzes, I order them, they check everything. We know when he called that Ašćerić (Miralem Aščić, Avaz journalist). We know when Aščerić called him, we know everything - says Osmica on the recording.

However, the Court of B&H, headed by President Ranko Debevec, does not want to say whether Mehmedagić had a court order to monitor and eavesdrop on Avaz journalist.

Here is the query we sent them:

Due to the fact that in the audio recording published by the portal "Dnevni avaz" on September 17th and 18th, the director of ISA BiH Osman Mehmedagić directly during the conversation with the Chief State Prosecutor Gordana Tadić and her deputy Ozrenka Nešković confirmed that he was following and eavesdropping on the journalist of "Dnevni avaz" Miralem Aščerić (Aščić), can you answer us whether you are aware of whether Mehmedagić had a court order for the measures taken by the ISA and, if so, whether they were signed and approved by the President of the Court Ranko Debevec? Given the weight of the words spoken, we ask that you respond to our request as soon as possible.

We sent the same inquiry to Halil Lagumdžija, President of the HJPC B&H, and Chief Disciplinary Prosecutor Alena Kurspahić-Nadarević.

He abused his authority

Since the Court of B&H is silent and does not want to give an answer to this question, then it is quite logical that they either hide something, or ISA and Mehmedagić did not have a court order that must be signed and approved by Debevec for special investigations against "Avaz" journalist.

All this indicates that Mehmedagić abused his powers and monitored and eavesdropped on journalist without a court order, thus apparently committing several criminal offenses.

Now it's the turn of the judiciary.
