The Office for the Fight against Corruption and Quality Management of the Sarajevo Canton is working intensively on the process of reviewing the diplomas of public sector employees.
As the director of the Office, Erduan Kafedžić, said at a recent press conference, diplomas have been checked for a little over 20 percent of public sector employees so far. As many as 57 forged diplomas were discovered!
Working for years in the public sector on fraud, they damaged the Budget of Sarajevo Canton by more than 12 million KM.
As "Avaz" reveals, among them are GRAS drivers, chefs, porters, stage workers, economists ... But, according to our information, this is just the beginning of the pyramid, there are many "bigger names" at the top.
Exclusively, for a start, we bring you the names of only some of them, ie the first 11 discovered:
Goran Dujmović, porter in KJU "Home for social care of persons with disabilities and other persons".
Bekim Sadik, chef in the "Therapeutic Community of the Sarajevo Canton Campus".
Samir Muhović, stage worker of the Public Institution "Kamerni teatar 55".
Suad Šahinović, drove a bus in GRAS.
Zakira Bašić, senior clerk for inventory accounting and cash at KJU "Home for children without parental care".
Mirsad Hamzić, security worker at the Public Institution "SC Health Center".
Miralem Talović, bus driver at GRAS.
Reuf Hota, bus driver at GRAS.
Sakib Pleh, president of the school board of JU Elementary School "Aneks".
Also, it was established that Emina Haljković submitted a false diploma of economist during her employment in the Sarajevo Penitentiary. She obtained a forged diploma from the Faculty of Economics, and with that diploma she worked for years at the Ministry of Communal Economy and Infrastructure.
These are just some of those who have worked fraudulently in the public sector for years, and the names of other people with fake diplomas will be published soon.
As the director of the Office, Erduan Kafedžić, said at a recent press conference, 19 fake diplomas have been discovered in "Rad" so far, 10 in GRAS, 5 in "Vodovod i kanalizacija", 4 in "Toplane", 3 in "Pokop".
