Folkestad emphasizes the commitment of NATO HQ to continue cooperation

Minister of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sifet Podžić, received today the Commander of the NATO Headquarters in Sarajevo, Brigadier General Eric Folkestad, on the occasion of the end of his one-year mandate.

The meeting was also attended by Deputy Minister of Defense for Resource Management Mirko Okolić, as well as Assistant Minister of Defense of B&H for International Cooperation Zoran Šajinović.

Minister Podžić thanked General Folkestad for the support of the NATO Headquarters in Sarajevo during his mandate and expressed his expectation for the continuation of successful cooperation.

Cooperation in the Reform Program, the Planning and Audit Process (PARP), the Operational Capability Assessment Program and the building of integrity in the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of B&H were especially emphasized.

General Folkestad once again emphasized the commitment of the NATO Headquarters Sarajevo to continue cooperation, and thanked for the correct and successful cooperation.

He emphasized that in the continuation of his professional career, he will help Bosnia and Herzegovina in its development and on the path to Euro-Atlantic integration, announced the B&H Ministry of Defense.
