Yesterday, the Prosecutor's Office of B&H filed an indictment against Selmo Cikotić, the Minister of Security of B&H, for abusing his position in the "Scout" affair.

"Dnevni Avaz" wrote back in 2018. that Selmo Cikotić, former Minister of Defense of B&H and then current advisor of Bakir Izetbegović, Bosniak member of the Presidency of B&H, is suspected by the Prosecutor's Office of B&H of selling surplus weapons and military equipment to the Zagreb company "Scout" damaged the budget of Bosnia and Herzegovina by 6.2 million marks.

In the article published on September 22nd, 2009, we published that the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) had temporarily seized the original documentation from the Ministry of Defense the day before yesterday, by order of the B&H Court, regarding the sale of surplus weapons to Zagreb's „Scout“, as well as annexes signed by the suspect Cikotić.

These are contracts that the Ministry of Defense of FB&H and the Directorate for Production and Trade of Weapons and Military Equipment of RS concluded with this company in 2003 and 2004. The annexes were signed by the B&H Ministry of Defense.

SIPA stated that these activities were the result of an investigation ordered by the Prosecutor's Office of B&H and that they related to the existence of grounds for suspicion that from March 22 to October 22, 2010, without the consent of the Presidency of B&H, two decisions were made and four annex to four contracts for the sale of non-performing weapons and ammunition, concluded during 2003 and 2004 between the entity ministries of defense and one Croatian company.
