Acting on the order of the prosecutor from the Special Department for War Crimes of the Prosecutor's Office of B&H, officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) arrested nine suspects in Bosanski Novi for crimes against humanity.

Persons under investigation by the Prosecutor's Office of B&H are suspected of having committed war crimes against Bosniak and Croat victims in the Bosanski Novi area in 1992 as members of the RS Army military police, related to the killings of several persons, illegal detention and crimes against hundreds of people.

After the criminal investigation, the suspects will be handed over to the acting prosecutor, who will interrogate them and then make a decision on further activities in the case, stated the Prosecutor's Office of B&H.
