Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Bisera Turković on Wednesday talked with the British Prime Minister's Special Envoy for the Western Balkans Stuart Peach about current challenges and the situation in B&H and the region of Western Balkans.

Minister Turković pointed out that the current blockade of the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the latest anti-constitutional activities are causing enormous damage to all citizens and the progress of our country towards the European Union, and threatens to destabilize the entire region.

She pointed out that the problems should be solved in the institutions of our state, and in the context of talks on changes to the Election Law. She stressed the importance of involving all parliamentary parties and other stakeholders in order to enable equal rights for all citizens in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Special Envoy Peach said the UK wants to provide support to the entire region, where there are currently a number of problems.

He informed the Minister with the meetings he held with officials in our country, but also with young people, and added that in the process of strengthening and progressing Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region, he would work closely with the United States and the European Union.

Peach reiterated his support for the OHR and said he would work closely with the High Representative and promote Euro-Atlantic integration, said the B&H Foreign Ministry.
