Croatia is set to issue an international arrest warrant for former Dinamo Zagreb coach Zoran Mamić who failed to report this week to serve his jail sentence for fraud, the Zagreb county court said on Tuesday.

Zoran Mamić's four years and eight months prison sentence was confirmed in March. He was due to turn up for serving the sentence by midnight on Monday. He is believed to be in Bosnia as he is also a Bosnian citizen.
-The Bosnian authorities must act on the arrest warrant and decide whether there are legal conditions met for Mamić to be handed over to Croatia- state news agency Hina quoted the court's spokesman Krešimir Devćić as saying.
-If Bosnia refuses to hand him over, he will remain at large in Bosnia until his possible arrest in some other way- he said.
Mamić requested to serve the sentence in Bosnia, but Croatia refused it.
He was sentenced to jail together with his brother Zdravko Mamić, former Dinamo executive president.
They had been charged together with another former Dinamo official and one tax expert for tax evasion worth 12.2 million kuna ($1.97 million) and for embezzlement of 116 million kuna from transfers of players from Dinamo.
The Mamić brothers denied any wrongdoing. Zdravko Mamić, also with a dual citizenship, now lives in Bosnia.

Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and other Brazilian states on Tuesday suspended immunization of pregnant women with the AstraZeneca coronavirus vaccine on the advice of the national health regulator after a reported death.

The daily newspaper Folha de S.Paulo said the health ministry was investigating the death of a woman in Rio de Janeiro who had received the vaccine.
The ministry did not confirm the report, but the Anvisa regulator late Monday recommended the "immediate suspension" of AstraZeneca vaccines for pregnant women in line with its "constant monitoring of adverse events with anti-Covid vaccines used in the country."
The health secretary of Rio said in a statement it had been decided to suspend application of the vaccine to pregnant women and new mothers in the state capital "until the investigation of the case of an adverse event in a pregnant woman is completed by the Ministry of Health."
Other municipalities in the state adopted the same measure.
The state of Sao Paulo said it would stop vaccinating women with comorbidities.
A report said at least 13 of Brazil's 27 states are taking similar steps.
Several EU countries have restricted AstraZeneca shots to older people only, after a link was made between the vaccine and very rare but often fatal blood clots coupled with low platelet levels.
Denmark has abandoned the vaccine entirely and experts in Britain have recommended people under 40 be given an alternative.
Brazil is immunizing the bulk of its population with China's CoronaVac, with limited doses of AstraZeneca and Pfizer vaccines.
The Latin American giant of 212 million people has so far given one shot to 15 percent of its population, and two shots to seven percent.

Former Italian prime minister Silvio Berlusconi has been readmitted to hospital, a source close to his Forza Italia party said Tuesday.

Bosnia and Herzegovina is third in the world in the number of deaths from the consequences of coronavirus, according to the latest data from the American University "Johns Hopkins".
Namely, our country has 266.28 deaths per 100,000 inhabitants, and the Czech Republic and Hungary have a higher incidence, which are in the second and first place in this parameter, respectively.
According to the data of this University, in B&amp;H, there are 200,693 confirmed cases since the beginning of the pandemic, and 8,790 people died, which is 4.4 percent.
No country in Europe, not even the Czech Republic or Hungary, has a higher percentage of deaths.

Ecuador has a higher percentage of deaths, but a lower incidence, 400,296 cases of coronavirus infection have been recorded in this country, 19,222 have died, which is 4.8 percent. The incidence is 110.64 per 100,000 inhabitants.
If we single out the region of the Western Balkans - it is not difficult to conclude that B&amp;H is by far the worst country in all statistical parameters.
According to "Johns Hopkins" University, B&amp;H has a mortality rate of 4.4 percent of the total number of patients.
Serbia has the best result in the region - 0.94 percent, followed by Montenegro with 1.57 percent, Slovenia (1.74), Albania (1.83), Kosovo (2.09), Croatia (2.18) and Northern Macedonia (3.32).

University "Johns Hopkins": B&H ranks third in the world in coronavirus mortality

The director of the Intelligence and Security Agency (ISA) of B&amp;H, Osman Mehmedagić Osmica, fulfilled the conditions four months ago to be retired by force of law, the "Avaz" portal reveals.
According to the information from "Avaz" and the documentation we had at our disposal, Mehmedagić already has 40 years, four months and 13 days of work experience (including benefited work experience), officially registered with the Federal Institute for Pension and Disability Insurance (PIO / MIO).
The Law on Work in the Institutions of B&amp;H specified that employment by force of law ends when the employee completes 40 years of insurance experience, regardless of age.

This means that Bakir's director of ISA should have retired four months ago and officially notified the Federal Institute for Pension and Disability Insurance about this.
More precisely, the professional services of ISA were obliged to submit a request for the retirement of director Mehmedagić at the moment he fulfiled 40 years of service, but this, apparently, was not done. In that way, Mehmedagić gained an illegal property gain of almost 20,000 KM during these four months, as long as he is the head of ISA as a pensioner.
This behavior of the director of ISA is also the reason for a new investigation by the Prosecutor's Office of B&amp;H, which is already checking him for a suspicious diploma and abuse of position in the "Security Checks" affair. The job for the Prosecutor's Office is also to find out who enabled him to illegally, after 40 years of work experience, receive a salary of almost 5,000 KM and knowingly abuse his duty. At the end of last year, he earned 58,894 KM in the name of salary for a year.
Documents from the Federal Institute for Pension and Disability Insurance (PIO / MIO) reveal that Mehmedagić started working on November 1st, 1984. in the then Republic Secretariat for Internal Affairs of B&amp;H, where he remained until April 1992.

He got a job at the Research and Documentation Agency (AID) in December 1995, where he worked until August 2002, after which he transferred to the Intelligence and Security Agency.
Officially, on November 15th, 2015, he was appointed to the four-year term as the director of ISA, which expired in 2019. During that time, he did not have a valid diploma in this position, and a few months ago he was left without access to classified information, because criminal proceedings and three investigations are being conducted against him.
However, for Bakir Izetbegović, his political and dynastic boss, the laws obviously do not apply. He said last week, as a guest on NTV Igman:
- Mehmedagić will remain the director and he will not be dismissed while I am here.
The question now remains whether the political position and patronage of Bakir Izetbegović will be more respected in the application of clear legal provisions, or what the Law on Labor in the Institutions of B&amp;H says and which applies to all citizens of this country.

<h2>Will Nikšić start doing his job</h2>

After this information, the question is what Nermin Nikšić, the president of the Commission for Supervision of the Work of ISA, will do. The session of this Commission, which is in charge of checking whether Mehmedagić meets the conditions to get a new mandate, has not been held for four months.
Nikšić discussed the unblocking of the Commission's work in early March with Zoran Tegeltija, chairman of the Council of Ministers and head of the Intelligence Body, which oversees the work of the ISA, but the procedure was never completed.
Since then, no Joint Session has been held, nor have members of the Commission met.

<h2> Did Tegeltija, Turković and Bevanda know about the conditions for retirement?</h2>

These shocking data are also an alarm for the members of the Reporting and Intelligence Body, which is superior to ISA, and which is headed by Zoran Tegeltija. His deputies are Vjekoslav Bevanda and Bisera Turković, which proposed on behalf of the SDA that Mehmedagić's term is extended.
The question now is, which members knew that Mehmedagić is a pensioner and how he was proposed for this position, if it is known that he has acquired all the conditions for retirement.

A total of 412,120 doses of coronavirus vaccines arrived in Bosnia and Herzegovina, including today's delivery of 31,500 doses of Pfizer/BioNTech vaccines. 

The Pfizer/BioNTech vaccines contingent that arrived at the Sarajevo International Airport today was purchased through the COVAX mechanism, through which Bosnia and Herzegovina preordered 1,232,000 vaccine doses.
On Tuesday, another 32,760 doses of Pfizer/BioNTech vaccines were delivered through the same mechanism and another 10,530 doses from the same manufacturer through the EU4Health program.
Through the COVAX mechanism, 49,800 doses of vaccines from AstraZeneca and Pfizer/BioNTech arrived in Bosnia and Herzegovina earlier, as well as another 10,530 doses of Pfizer/BioNTech vaccines through the EU4Health mechanism.
The Republic of Srpska entity procured 67,000 doses of Sputnik V vaccine and 80,000 doses of Sinofarm vaccine.
Bosnia and Herzegovina received donations of 40,000 doses of Sinovac vaccine from the Republic of Turkey, 40,000 doses of Astra Zenec vaccine from the Republic of Serbia, and 50,000 doses of Sinofarm vaccine as a donation from China.
Most of the vaccines that have arrived so far, 130,000 doses, came from the manufacturer Sinofarm, followed by 108,720 doses of Pfizer/BioNTech vaccines, 67,000 doses of Sputnik V vaccines, 66,400 doses of Astra Zeneca vaccines, and 40,000 doses of Sinovac vaccines. The total amount of vaccines that have arrived so far is sufficient to immunize 12 percent of the total population of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
In the coming period, in addition to prepaid doses of vaccines through the COVAX mechanism and those that should arrive through the EU4Health program, another 50,000 doses of vaccines donated by Malaysia, at the invitation of BiH Presidency member Šefik Džaferović, are expected to arrive, as well as 20,000 doses of Astra Zeneca vaccines donated by the Republic of Croatia, and 4,800 doses of vaccines as a donation from Slovenia.
Negotiations between the Government of the Federation of BiH and several manufacturers are underway to procure larger quantities of vaccines for the needs of immunization of the citizens of this entity.

A 23-year-old Italian woman was under observation in a hospital in Tuscany after receiving six doses of the Pfizer vaccine in error, news agency AGI reported Monday. 

The woman was in good condition after receiving fluids and paracetamol following the injection Sunday, AGI reported.
Instead of injecting just one dose into the arm of the student, a nurse mistakenly injected the entire vial, the equivalent of six doses.
Previous studies to test overdoses of the Pfizer vaccine were limited to four doses, AGI wrote. 
The incident has been reported to Italy's medicine regulator.

Covid jab maker BioNTech said Monday it would build a Southeast Asia headquarters and manufacturing site in Singapore to produce hundreds of millions of mRNA-based vaccines per year.

Construction of the site will start this year, and it could become operational by 2023, the German company said in a statement.
-With this planned mRNA production facility, we will increase our overall network capacity and expand our ability to manufacture and deliver our mRNA vaccines and therapies to people around the world- said BioNTech chief executive Ugur Sahin.
The vaccine produced by BioNTech jointly with Pfizer of the United States became the first Covid-19 jab to be approved for use in the West late last year.
It is now supplying more than 90 countries worldwide, and is expecting to ramp up its production to up to three billion doses by the end of the year from 2.5 billion doses expected previously.
The pace will further accelerate to more than three billion doses in 2022.
The Singapore production site will be the German company's first mRNA manufacturing facility outside Europe, and will have an estimated capacity of several hundred million doses of such vaccines.
Its partner Pfizer operates production sites in the United States as well as in Belgium.
In a bid to raise global production capacities for their Covid vaccine, BioNTech and Pfizer have set out licensing and manufacturing partnerships with other pharmaceutical companies such as Merck, Novartis and Sanofi.
Both BioNTech and Pfizer have argued that the extension of such cooperation is what would help ensure a wider supply of vaccines, and not a patent waiver as the United States has sought.

The exercise, in which about 500 members of the AF B&amp;H and about 700 US soldiers will take part, will be held at the military training grounds of the AF B&amp;H at Manjača and Glamoč, as well as at the barracks and Dubrava airport near Tuzla from May 17 to June 2.
The B&amp;H Presidency approved this exercise in February 2020.
The "Immediate Response 21" exercise is part of a large multinational exercise "Defender Europe 21" conducted by the US Armed Forces Europe and Africa Command, linking four different military exercises on European soil.
The exercise gathers a total of about 28,000 participants in four related exercises, which will be held at 31 military training grounds in 12 countries, with the participation of armed forces from a total of 27 countries.
The head of the ODC at the US Embassy in B&amp;H, Major Taib Grozdanić, reminded that this is the largest exercise of the Armed Forces of B&amp;H in recent history, emphasizing that "when you have good partners, everything is much easier."
Special attention at the exercise will be paid to the compliance with epidemiological measures against the COVID-19 pandemic.
Journalists will also be invited to witness the arrival of the majority of the US forces at the Sarajevo International Airport this week, and a special day that will be held for the distinguished guests near the end of the exercise at Manjača, stated the Public Relations Office of the Ministry of Defense of B&amp;H.&nbsp;

The appeal session in the case against Osman Mehmedagic, director of the Intelligence and Security Agency (OSA), and Muhamed Pekic, an employee of this agency, who were acquitted of abuse of office by the first instance verdict, ended before the Appellate Chamber of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Prosecutor Oleg Čavka explained the reasons why he asked the Appellate Chamber to revocate the acquittal. He claims that there have been significant violations of the provisions of the criminal procedure and that the factual situation has been incompletely established.
The prosecutor said that Mehmadagić and Pekić undertook official actions in their own interest for which they did not have the authority. Čavka pointed out that during the procedure, there was constant pressure from the Court, which took over the powers of the Prosecutor's Office of B&amp;H.
Among other things, he said that the Prosecution was not allowed to submit additional material evidence and that during the sentencing, the publicly presented part differed from the written copy of the verdict and that the Court communicated with the public and gave instructions on how to write about the verdict.
Čavka quoted the position of the Court of First Instance "that not every abuse is a criminal offense", which brings into doubt that the verdict is incomprehensible.
The prosecutor reprimanded the first instance court for giving credence to witness Trifko Buha, and obtained material evidence.
- The court clarified that Buha is a co-signatory and that he approved the operation to exclude the recording from "BH Post", although the evidence bears the signature of Osman Mehmedagić - said Čavka, emphasizing that the Court was biased towards the defense.
Explaining why the Court suddenly requested the hearing of Mirela Bubalo, even though she is one of the injured parties, Čavka stated that the Court was either contaminated by writing of certain portals or inspected the evidence. Čavka said that the Court was exposed to pressure and anonymous letters, and that it was infected by that, and that they used those facts as evidence.
The defense of Mehmedagić and Pekić requested the Appellate Chamber to dismiss the Prosecution's appeal as unfounded.
Lawyer Senka Nožica, who represents Mehmedagić, once again pointed out that it was a political process with the aim of accusing one ISA director.
Nožica pointed out that the prosecutor practically gave the final word at the session.

According to the indictment, in August 2020, they obtained a surveillance recording from "BH Post" and revealed the identity of the sender of the anonymous report against the director of ISA, but the Court of B&amp;H acquitted them of the charges of the Prosecutor's Office of B&amp;H.
However, the Prosecution appealed, requesting that the acquittal be either revoked or a new trial ordered before the Appellate Chamber of the Court of B&amp;H.

Regarding the inquiry of several media about whether Adis Arapović resigned from SBB, party spokesman Seđad Muhić made announcement.
- We learned about Mr. Arapović's resignation from the media and that did not surprise us. Recently, especially after the local elections, part of the cantonal leadership in Sarajevo, Tuzla or Bihćc has stressed the need for urgent deaccumulation of political and other functions and expressed open dissatisfaction with membership because Mr. Arapović's wife was elected to as many as three supervisory boards (she is a member of the Supervisory Board of the Development Bank of FB&amp;H, the Supervisory Board of the Financial and Information Agency of FB&amp;H and the Supervisory Board of the bankrupt Mostar Tobacco Factory).

A member of the Crisis Staff of the Ministry of Health of the SC, Arman Šarkić, stated that 5,282 doses of vaccines are available, mostly from the manufacturers Sinovac and Sinopharm, and Pfizer vaccines should arrive during the day.

He pointed out that each vaccine is of good quality and that it will be indicated which vaccine the insured person should receive.
In the first round of vaccination, 12,800 doses of vaccine were available in the Sarajevo Canton, and between 1,500 and 1,700 people were vaccinated daily at the Zetra Hall.
Some 100,000 doses of vaccines should arrive in the canton at the end of May or the beginning of June.
