The Democratic Front expresses doubt that the ruling Troika with the HDZ again wants appointment, not a real election when it comes to filling positions at the Constitutional Court of BiH.
The intention of the rulers is to go before representatives with two names, Katica Artuković, a judge from Широ Brijeg and Dženet Omerdić, advisor to the Chairman of the Presidency of BiH Denis Bećirović.
- We warn that, as in the case of Vukoje, this is not an election but confirmation of behind-the-scenes actions of partners who quarrel in public but secretly agree on the selection of party cadres to the most important Court in the country!
Hypocritical is today's media appearance of Our Party, which, dissatisfied with Mioković's removal, announces withdrawal of support for Artuković. At the same time, claiming there is nothing controversial in the election and work of Marina Vukoje - DF points out.
From the DF they pose the question to the rest of the Troika, are they so satisfied with the choice of Čović's protégé to the Constitutional Court of BiH Marina Vukoje that they again agree to a pre-prepared scenario?
- We also ask Mr. Bećirović, who when appointing Vukoje stated that representatives must be enabled to elect a judge, not confirm sole candidates by acclamation, has something changed or do different criteria apply to his close associate? We do not accept justifications that these are candidates who received the highest scores, because they were evaluated by representatives of the parliamentary majority who are not lawyers by profession - DF concludes.
