The Central Election Commission of B&H has announced new preliminary results of the elections for the City Council of the City of Mostar.

The 2020 local elections for the City Council of the City of Mostar were held yesterday in the city on the Neretva river.

Voter turnout at regular polling stations was 55 percent, or 52,865 voters.

In the elections, 35 councilors were elected to the City Council of the City of Mostar, and in the city constituency that covers the entire area of the city, 13 councilors are elected and the remaining 22 councilors are elected in 6 constituencies of the city area. This means that each voter will receive two ballots.

The Central Election Commission of B&H announced at nine o'clock a new cross-section of the election results in Mostar.

According to preliminary results, based on 98 polling stations processed (65.33 percent), HDZB&H leads the City Constituency with 11,973 or 37.48 percent of votes, followed by the Coalition for Mostar 2020 with 9,421 votes or 29.49 percent.

In third place is the "Bh.blok", which consists of SDP and Naša stranka and has 3,629 votes, followed by the Croatian Republican Party with 2,474 votes or 7.74 percent.


Constituency North

The Coalition for Mostar 2020 leads the Constituency North with 3,053 votes.

In second place is "Bh.blok" with 722 votes, in third place "Stay here - Together for our Mostar", which consists of SNSD and SDS with 291 votes, fourth HDZ B&H with 235 votes and in fifth place is the First Party with nine votes .


Constituency Old Town

In the Old Town Constituency, the Coalition for Mostar 2020 is leading with 4,090 votes.

In second place is "Bh.blok" with 3,316 votes, in third place is the First Mostar Party with 744 votes, followed by the Platform for Progress with 318 votes, "Stay here - Together for our Mostar" with 131 votes and the First Party with 45 votes.


Constituency Southeast

In the Southeast constituency, 13 polling stations or 92.86 percent were processed.

The Coalition for Mostar 2020 is in the lead with 2,959 votes or 72.31 percent. It is followed by the Platform for Progress with 510 votes or 12.46 percent, and the BH Blok with 437 votes or 10.68 percent.


Constituency Southwest

In the Southwest constituency, 30 polling stations or 69.77 percent were processed.

HDZ B&H is in the lead with 5,783 votes or 57.88 percent.

It is followed by the Croatian Republican Party with 1,835 votes or 18.37 percent, and the BH Blok with 1,022 votes or 10.23 percent.


Constituency North

In the North constituency, 13 polling stations or 81.25 percent were processed.

The Coalition for Mostar 2020 is in the lead with 3,053 votes or 70.84 percent. It is followed by BH Blok with 722 votes or 16.75 percent, and "Stay Here" with 291 votes or 6.75 percent.


Constituency West

In the constituency North, 24 polling stations were processed (77.42 percent)

HDZ B&H is in the lead with 4,409 votes, in second place is the Croatian Republican Party with 1,465 votes, and in third place is BH Bloc with 884 votes.
