Muriz and Arijana, the father and sister of the murdered Dženan Memić, today demanded the resignation of Chief Prosecutor Sabina Sarajlija in front of the Sarajevo Prosecutor's Office building.

They submitted a request to the SC Prosecutor's Office requesting that Sarajlija resigns.

Dženan Memić's father, Muriz Memić, said that for professional reasons he was asking the cantonal prosecutor Sabina Sarajlija to leave and to resign.

- It is clear to everyone since yesterday that Dženan was killed and that the state prosecutor's office is doing well. To begin with, Dalilda Burzić must be suspended. Prosecutor Sarajlila never wanted to receive me, even though I asked for it. She is unprofessional and has no feelings for victims. She works for other people and doesn’t work with her head. It will soon be known who the killer is and who the accomplices are - said Memić.

Five years of struggle

- We have been fighting for five years to punish those who committed their crimes and we will not give up. Today is a good day, as much as it can get without Dženan. Today, justice finally knocked on the door and we opened it for her. The road is long, but the end is in sight. We are telling everyone, especially Alisa Mutap, that people have come who are not afraid to do their job - said Arijana Memić last night in her post on Facebook.

During the gathering, it was repeated that the family will not give up until all those involved in Dženan's murder are brought to justice.

Handed over to the prosecution

By the way, SIPA arrested Hasan Dupovac, former chief of Traffic Investigations of the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of the Interior, and Zijo Mutap, father of Alisa Mutap, Dženan Memić's ex-girlfriend, who was with him when he was seriously injured.

They were handed over to the Prosecutor's Office of B&H this morning, and the acting prosecutor will decide during the day whether he will ask the Court of B&H to order one-month detention.
