The Prosecutor's Office of B&H sent an appeal to the Appellate Chamber of the Court of B&H due to the rejection of the proposal to order one-month custody for the suspect Osman Mehmedagić Osmica, director of the Intelligence and Security Agency (ISA) of B&H.

The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, more precisely the single judge, rejected the Prosecution's proposal at the end of last week and released Mehmedagić to defend himself from freedom.

Mehmedagić was not banned from performing the duties of the director of OSA.

Custody was requested for fear that the suspect would repeat the crime, influence witnesses and conceal evidence, and that release could lead to public harassment.

We remind you that the director of ISA was arrested last week by members of the SC Ministry of the Interior, according to the order of the Prosecutor's Office of B&H. As officially announced by the Prosecutor's Office of B&H, Mehmedagić is charged with criminal offenses of abuse of position or authority, forgery of a document and money laundering.

However, immediately after the arrest, there was fierce pressure from the authorities and the regime media gathered around the SDA on the Prosecutor's Office of B&H and the Court that Mehmedagić is released.

He was banned from contacting all witnesses and suspects in the "Diploma" affair.
