The United States of America (USA) could in the next few days, possibly as early as the beginning of September, make a new decision on expanding the American blacklist for irresponsible individuals in Bosnia and Herzegovina due to corruption, as well as anti-Dayton and anti-constitutional activities that have become increasingly pronounced in recent months, "Avaz" finds out.

Agile Murphy

The State Department, as it was confirmed to us, closely monitors the development of the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and they have significant help by the US Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the agile Ambassador Michael Murphy, who has already reacted strongly several times through the official announcements of the US Embassy, sending clear messages about what he thinks about the moves of individuals in power, above all those from SDA and HDZ.

The US Embassy strongly reacted to the statements of Bakir Izetbegović, the leader of the SDA, about the counting, as well as Dragan Čović, the president of the HDZ of BiH, about the territorial reorganization of BiH.

State Department: They leave nothing to chance. Agencies

As things stand, there should be at least two people on the expanded list, primarily because of corruption. For now, it is not known who they are and whether they are famous names from the world of politics or Bosnia and Herzegovina judiciary, but it is important that the USA monitors the situation in BiH and introduces sanctions for irresponsible individuals and the policies that follow them.

This is, first of all, a tail wind for Christian Schmidt, whose decisions are clearly backed by Washington and they support his moves when it comes to the Bonn powers.

More people

Let us remind you that the United States of America, that is, the Ministry of Finance of this country, put Marinko Čavara, the President of the Federation of BiH, and Alen Šeranić, the Minister of Health of the RS, on the list of sanctioned individuals two months ago.

Prior to that, sanctions were imposed on Asim Sarajlić, the delegate of the Bosniak Club in the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliament (SDA), as well as Gordana Tadić, the former chief state prosecutor. The list also included Mirsad Kukić, Milan Tegeltija, former head of the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of BiH, as well as Milorad Dodik, leader of the SNSD and member of the BiH Presidency.

The response of Great Britain is awaited

We learn that the United Kingdom may follow the American sanctions. In April, this country imposed sanctions on Dodik, but also on Željka Cvijanović, the president of Republika Srpska, due to destabilizing activities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the British Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced at the time. Great Britain could also introduce sanctions for several persons associated with anti-constitutional activities, who do not come from the smaller Bosnia and Herzegovina entities.
