Freedom of expression is a fundamental right and an indispensable part of any democratic society, it wast stated from the EU Delegation in BiH after yesterday's hacker attack on all Facebook profiles of "Dnevni avaz".

- Any attempt to obstruct the functioning of media organisations in Bosnia and Herzegovina represents an attack on democratic values. The fight against cybercrime is a priority for the EU, and as noted in the Analytical Report accompanying the Commission’s Opinion on BiH’s application for EU membership, the country’s capacity to respond to cyber security threats needs to be strengthened. Incidents of cybercrime should be investigated by the relevant law enforcement agencies - pointed out Ferdinand Koenig, spokesperson of the EU Delegation to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

We remind you that yesterday morning all the Facebook pages of "Dnevni avaz" were hacked. The editors of "Dnevni avaz" reported a hacker attack on our media house to the Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of SC.

This is not the first time that "Avaz", the largest media group in Bosnia and Herzegovina, has come under attack.

Our readers are the wind behind us, and the numerous messages of support we have received from all over the world have strengthened us and given us the strength to continue exposing every anomaly for the benefit of society.

Avaz is the strongest media in Bosnia and Herzegovina and it is the media that is the most quoted in international newspapers and other publications.
