It is suspected that he received a salary in ISA on the basis of a fake diploma and gained an illegal benefit of more than 100,000 KM. He is also suspected of having committed the crime of "money laundering".

According to the information from "Avaz", it is being checked with what money Mehmedagić bought and renovated two houses in the Sarajevo neighbourhood Aneks, in the renovation of which close to one million marks were allegedly invested.
Namely, the investigation established that Mehemdagić did not withdraw money from the account for the purchase of this real estate, which is why there is a justified suspicion of money laundering.
We remind you that Osmica bought this house from Šaćir Čedić, the owner of the "Vatra" cafe chain in Sarajevo, who was questioned by the Prosecutor's Office of B&amp;H in January. He testified in this judicial institution about the circumstances of the sale of the house in 2017 to Osman Mehmedagić.
Based on the financial investigation, which was conducted by the State Agency for Investigation and Protection (SIPA), the prosecutors came to the information that Čedić sold the house of 94.40 square meters to Mehmedagić for 116,000 KM.
However, in the outflow of funds from the account of the suspect Mehmedagić, these funds were not shown at all. More precisely, Mehmedagić did not withdraw money from the account for this real estate in 2017.
Namely, it is suspected that Mehmedagić paid for this property in cash, which is why Čedić was summoned to the Prosecutor's Office. The sales contract was signed on May 22nd, 2017. Čedić had to explain to the prosecutors whether the house he sold to Mehmedagić was in a devastated condition, whether it had a swimming pool and what kind of transaction it was.

Back in 2018, "Avaz" published that the director of ISA was hiding from whom he bought two properties in Sarajevo and at what price, whether the payment was made from his current account to the seller's account and whether the FB&amp;H Tax Administration made an assessment of real estate and whether he paid real estate transfer tax.
He did not withdraw money from the account for the vehicle he bought from Asim Sarajlić for his wife Amela Šehović.

Before the Disciplinary Commission of the HJPC, chaired by Avdija Avdić, along with members Srđan Forca and Lejla Hadžić, a closing argument was held today in the disciplinary proceedings against Ranko Debevec, President of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, charged with disciplinary offenses that damaged the B&amp;H Court's reputation. 
The Office of the Disciplinary Prosecutor (UDT) filed a lawsuit against him on April 2nd this year. With that report, he was charged with inappropriate and intentional contact with Osman Mehmedagić Osmica, putting pressure on prosecutor Vedrana Mijović and hiding information in his annual financial report, ie the fact that he owns real estate in Spain.
Prior to the hearing, Chairman Avdić spoke at the request of Vasvija Vidović and Senka Nožica, Debevec's lawyers, regarding the exclusion of the public when it comes to the testimonies of two witnesses, during whose testimony the public was excluded. The presiding judge decided not to talk about these witnesses, but that both parties in the proceedings could submit their statements about them in writing.

<h2>Couple of disciplinary sanctions</h2>

In her closing remarks, Chief Disciplinary Prosecutor Alena Kurspahić-Nadarević emphasized that the UDT had fully proven Ranko Debevec's disciplinary responsibility and suggested to the Commission that one or more disciplinary sanctions be imposed on him.
-In the first point of the lawsuit, we stated that during December 2020, Debevec met in Branilaca Sarajeva Street at number 45 with Osman Mehmedagić, Director General of the Intelligence and Security Agency of B&amp;H, after which they went together to private premises at the entrance to the address at owned by M. A. At the time of the defendant's meeting with the Director of ISA, a criminal case was pending before the Court of B&amp;H, with which the public was informed on the basis of media reports, initiated by the indictment of the Prosecutor's Office of B&amp;H, confirmed on November 4th, 2020. The information about the meeting between the defendant and Mehmedagić was published by several electronic and written media - Kurspahić-Nadarević stated in her closing remarks and continued:
-Before we embark on further analysis of the evidence, it is necessary to state that the defendant has made certain facts indisputable. Thus, in response to the lawsuit, it was stated that the defendant did not dispute that he met with Mehmedagić and that they went to the premises together. The defendant's witness also states that this meeting took place in the described manner. From the evidence, which is a video, it can be seen that Debevec and Mehmedagić meet in front of the house, go inside and return the same way together. As it further follows from the evidence, which is the information of the Prosecutor's Office of B&amp;H, in December there was also the main trial of the accused Mehmedagić, and that search was announced in January. This was reported by the most popular media in B&amp;H and the general public was aware of its existence. It follows that the President of the Court of B&amp;H must have been acquainted with such a high-profile court procedure.

During the proceedings, there was a lot of controversy about the legality of the compromising video showing Debevec and Osmica, although part of the facts that want to be established by this evidence is indisputable.
The prosecutor then referred to the case-law on the admission of evidence concerning videos excluded from video surveillance.
-Lawyers pointed out that the video of Mehmedagić and Debevec was obtained contrary to the Law on Personal Data Protection, because there was no notice that there was video surveillance in that facility. Contrary to this view, there is no evidence that they approached the Personal Data Protection Agency or that this agency found that their right had been violated. UDT is familiar with the position of the Court of B&amp;H that, if "citizens understood that norm as Debevec understands, then no company, shop or institution would have video surveillance to record who enters and who leaves" - stated Kurspahić-Nadarević.
In her closing argument, the prosecutor further mentioned Debevec's pressure on prosecutor Vedrana Mijović, to whom he sent inappropriate messages.
-Vedrana, I hear you're looking for an insight into my CMS account and file. What are the reasons? Thank you Vedrana for the SC Ministry of the Interior and for terrorizing and checking a woman who has nothing to do with the Lijanović's or buying a small Mercedes from them. Say hello to Gordana. You are doing illegal things that totally have no basis in any law. You take out the documentation and research people who have nothing to do with that story right now. You ask the Court for orders and let the Court approve the seizure of documents if there are grounds for suspicion that I am a criminal - said Debevec in a message to prosecutor Mijović - the prosecutor read.
The evidence presented showed that the content of the messages was indisputable, she added.

<h2>Messages with inappropriate content</h2>

- As follows from the testimony of prosecutor Mijović, she did not file a complaint because Debevec was threatening her, but because the content of the messages was inappropriate - Kurspahić-Nadarević explained.
Also, the prosecutor said that Debevec during the submission of his annual financial report as a holder of judicial office for 14 years did not list the property in Spain.
- He relented from 2004 to 2020, while he was a cantonal prosecutor and a prosecutor of the State Prosecutor's Office, then a judge and president of the Court of B&amp;H. He did not do so intentionally, although in the form for the financial report he must state the fact that he owns real estate worth 5,000 to 20,000 KM. From the material evidence of the UDT obtained by the RS Ministry of the Interior, it was determined that the value of the real estate in Spain is higher than 70,000 euros, which is significantly more than the legal threshold. We remind you that the holders of first-instance functions sign these forms under full criminal and material responsibility - the prosecutor concluded.
On the other hand, lawyers Vasvija Vidović and Senka Nožica, in presenting their closing arguments, emphasized that during the proceedings, UDT did not prove Debevec's responsibility for the disciplinary offenses for which he is charged.
Lawyer Vidović explained that the nature of the job of the President of the Court of B&amp;H is to have contact with the Director of ISA.
- This footage did not violate judicial ethics. There are no violations of ethics in the factual description of the lawsuit. It is not disputed that they met or that proceedings were conducted against Mehmedagić, but the specificity of the performance of the duties of the two is as follows. At the time, Debevec was not the acting prosecutor in any of the cases. It is also the duty of the President of the Court to collect classified information. At that time, Mehmedagić was not banned from performing any activities. In that situation, Debevec could not turn his back and leave when he saw Mehmedagić. So, these are functions for which there are no working hours. That meeting was not even held in the manner described in the disciplinary lawsuit - Vidović explained.

Defendant Debevec also addressed the Disciplinary Commission, saying that in his case no motive had been established for him to commit a disciplinary offense because he had acquired the property through a loan before entering the judicial office.

Alexander Lashkarava, a 37-year-old cameraman working for independent TV station Pirveli, was found dead at home in the early hours on Sunday, less than a week after he was assaulted by a violent mob protesting against a planned LGBTQ Pride parade.
His death, and the beating of dozens of other journalists by the mob, has prompted a wave of outrage in the Caucasus country and abroad, with Reporters Without Borders (RSF) saying it "marks a disastrous turning point for the freedom to inform in Georgia."
A huge crowd gathered outside Lashkarava's home on Tuesday ahead of his funeral and burst into applause as his coffin was carried through a corridor of colleagues with their cameras lowered on tripods.

Boeing will temporarily reduce production of the 787 Dreamliner plane after identifying a new issue with the jet during inspections, the company announced Tuesday.

Boeing is "reprioritizing production resources for a few weeks" after it "identified additional rework that will be required on undelivered 787s," the company said, without providing further details.
The aviation giant has been working with regulators at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) on a system of 787 inspections after earlier production problems on the plane. 
The FAA described the problem as a "manufacturing quality issue near the nose on certain 787 Dreamliners in the company's inventory of undelivered airplanes," an agency spokeswoman said.
-Although the issue poses no immediate threat to flight safety, Boeing has committed to fix these airplanes before resuming deliveries. Based on data, the FAA will determine whether similar modifications should be made on 787s already in commercial service.-The latest 787 problem adds to the headwinds facing Boeing even as the travel industry begins to rebound from a deep downturn caused by Covid-19, and commercial airlines announce significant new plane orders.
A Boeing spokesman said new 787 deliveries remain halted as the company negotiates with the FAA on an inspection protocol for the jet's fuselages. 
The announcement means Boeing's 787 output "will temporarily be lower than five per-month and will gradually return to that rate," the company said. "Boeing now expects to deliver fewer than half of the 787s currently in inventory this year."
Boeing has previously said it has about 100 787 planes in inventory.
The disclosure about came as Boeing reported 79 second-quarter commercial plane deliveries, up from 70 in the year-ago period.
The figures include a big jump in 737 MAX deliveries after the FAA cleared the jet to resume service in November 2020 following a 20-month grounding due to two deadly crashes.

The developers of Russia's Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine said on Tuesday a deal had been struck with Indian vaccine maker the Serum Institute to produce 300 million doses annually.

-The parties intend to produce over 300 million doses of the vaccine in India per year with the first batch expected in September 2021- the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) said in a statement.
Sputnik V was registered by Russia in August last year -- the first of four vaccines developed in the country -- and the RDIF says it is approved for use in 67 countries.
Its hasty development and distribution for use ahead of late-stage trials meant the jab was initially greeted with scepticism.
Sputnik V has since won over experts, in a scientific and geopolitical victory for President Vladimir Putin, who announced late last month he had been inoculated with the vaccine.
Kirill Dmitriev, the CEO of RDIF, described the deal with Serum as "a major step" that would increase Sputnik V production capabilities and ultimately "save lives both in India and around the world".
He said that technology transfer had begun and joint production was expected to start in the coming months.
Serum Institute CEO Adar Poonawalla said in the statement that since it had shown "high efficacy and a good safety profile, it is critical that the Sputnik vaccine is accessible in full measure for people across India and the world."
In January, the RDIF, which helped finance Sputnik V, announced that it had applied for registration of the vaccine in the European Union.

A Malaysian coronavirus vaccination centre was temporarily closed Tuesday after more than 200 workers tested positive for Covid-19, authorities said, as the country's cases set a new daily record.

The Southeast Asian nation is battling a serious outbreak driven by highly infectious variants, and has been under a strict lockdown since the start of June.
It has ramped up its jab drive by opening mass vaccination sites, and about 11 percent of the population are so far fully vaccinated while almost 25 percent have received a first dose.
But one centre in hard-hit Selangor state was forced to close after 204 staff and volunteers out of 453 there tested positive, said Khairy Jamaluddin, minister in charge of the inoculation drive.
Those infected had low "viral loads" and none had serious symptoms, possibly because most workers at the site in Shah Alam city had been vaccinated, he said.
He added that 400 of the workers there had been inoculated, but he did not say which vaccine they had been given.
Malaysia is using the Pfizer-BioNTech, AstraZeneca and Sinovac shots.
-This is the first time we've had to shut down a (vaccination centre) because of positive cases, but we acted fast- Khairy said, adding it would not hamper the overall programme.
The centre's closure led to thousands of appointments being rescheduled, but it will re-open Wednesday after sanitisation, with new staff.
Despite being under strict curbs for weeks, with only essential businesses allowed to operate, Malaysia's infection rates have remained high.
Daily cases hit a new record of 11,079 Tuesday, along with 125 deaths.
Health Minister Adham Baba later told reporters nearly 700 new beds for virus patients had been added at hospitals in the capital, as well as in Selangor and Negeri Sembilan state, taking the total to over 5,000.
He also announced an extra 1,200 medical staff would be hired and about 5,000 new volunteers brought in to help in the three hard-hit areas.
The country of almost 33 million people has so far reported more than 855,000 virus cases, and nearly 6,400 deaths.&nbsp;
