The Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, within the legal deadline, filed an appeal against the decision of the Court of B&H not to extend the detention measure for the suspects in the "Zijad Mutap and Others" case.

- The appeal was filed in relation to all five suspects - the Prosecutor's Office of B&H announced.

The appeal refers to Zijad Mutap, Hasan Dupovac, Alisa Ramić (Mutap), Josip Barić and Muamer Ožegović, and it was stated with a proposal to change the decision and extend the custody of the suspects.

The appeal was filed due to an erroneous and incompletely established factual situation in relation to the proposal of the Prosecutor's Office of B&H to extend the custody of the suspects.

The act of the Prosecutor's Office of B&H was forwarded to the Court of B&H, and the Trial Chamber is expected to comment soon on the arguments of Prosecutor Ćazim Hasanspahić.

By the way, this is a case in which the State Prosecutor's Office has filed an indictment against five people, who are charged with covering up the murder of a young man, Dženan Memić, whose family has been fighting for justice for more than five years.
