Ćamil Duraković has been relieved of his duties as President of the Srebrenica Municipal Assembly.

At the proposal of the Vice President of the Assembly, Radomir Pavlović, a vote was taken to remove Duraković, and fifteen councilors voted in favor of the proposal, while one was against it.

Councilor Zulfo Salihović previously proposed that the proposal to remove Duraković be withdrawn from the agenda, which the Serb councilors did not accept.

After Duraković was relieved of his duties, Bosniak MPs left the session, while Serb MPs continued to work together with one Bosniak councilor, Salko Turusnović, who was later elected the new President of the Assembly.

- What was hinted in the past months has actually happened, and today it has been implemented. The decision was not initiated by the club of the coalition "My Address Srebrenica", but by the Serb parties, looking for a suitable Bosniak who can sit in that position to suit their policy. We left the session, and councilor Salko Tursunović remained, and I don't know what will happen next at the session - Ćamil Duraković told FENA.
