Queen Elizabeth II will hold her first in-person meeting with a foreign leader in over a year when she hosts US President Joe Biden on June 13 after he attends a G7 summit, Buckingham Palace announced Thursday.

It said the 95-year-old monarch will meet the president and First Lady Jill Biden at Windsor Castle west of London, where she has largely lived since the coronavirus pandemic first swept Britain in March 2020.
The Queen, who has received her two doses of Covid-19 vaccination, has been holding the vast majority of meetings virtually, including audiences with foreign ambassadors. 
It will be her first meeting in person with a foreign head of state since the pandemic hit, and her most high-profile official engagement since presiding over the state opening of parliament on May 11.
That was the Queen's first public appearance since the funeral of her husband Prince Philip. He died on April 9, aged 99.
In a statement of condolence then, the Bidens paid tribute to the late Duke of Edinburgh. "His legacy will live on not only through his family, but in all the charitable endeavours he shaped," they wrote.
The meeting with the president and first lady will come the day after the Queen's official birthday, and will follow the three-day summit of Group of Seven leaders in Cornwall, southwest England.
The G7 gathering starts Biden's first foreign tour since he took office in January. He will also make stops at a NATO summit in Brussels and in Geneva, for a June 16 summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
With the exception of Lyndon B. Johnson, the Queen has met every US president during her 69-year reign. Donald Trump staged a controversial state visit to Britain in June 2019.
The official birthday celebration is normally marked by a military parade called "Trooping the Colour", featuring hundreds of personnel from Britain's most prestigious regiments. 
But it has been cancelled for a second year, owing to the pandemic.

A few days ago, the Cantonal Court in Sarajevo submitted to the Prosecutor's Office of B&amp;H a central unit of a computer that was imported and on which video surveillance footage from the „Kristal“ Hotel in Ilidža was stored, and refers to the investigation into the „Dženan Memić“ case.

As "Avaz" finds out, the experts are working on recovering the deleted footage, which, according to all indications, will be usable, and in that way numerous doubts in the "Memić" case will be clarified.
A source close to the investigation revealed to us that this is footage from February 8th, 2016, when Dženan Memić was seriously injured in Velika Aleja in Ilidža, and footage from February 9th, 10th and 11th.
As our source reveals, the experts determined with certainty that footage was intentionally deleted and that there was no other factor in the removal of that material than human!
The investigation will also be directed towards the person who deleted the video material, because these are criminal offenses of hiding and destroying evidence.

This hotel is owned by Alija Budnjo, a businessman from Ilidža. Prosecutors will now check who deleted the footage and why. Earlier, the Hotel Management claimed that no one deleted anything, but that the data was automatically deleted. However, the Prosecution does not believe this.
Acting prosecutor Ćazim Hasanspahić recently confirmed these allegations in the Court of B&amp;H, explaining the detention of the arrested member of the SC MUP, Josip Barić.
Every detail is now extensively checked and the footage will be recovered, more precisely the four missing days.

Prosecutor Hasanspahić stated that this was the central unit of a group of hotels whose video surveillance covered a key part of the Great Alley. As he explained in court, the electricity suddenly went out and, when the officers of the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of the Interior appeared, there was no footage.
- It is indisputable that the footage was deleted. The Prosecutor's Office of B&amp;H issued an order to SIPA in order to determine the manner and moment of deleting the footage and possibly recovering the content. Shouldn't it have been determined earlier who deleted the recordings if the MUP officer saw them - said Hasanspahić.

<h2>Who is afraid of Seferović's testimony</h2>

Hasan Dupovac, former head of the SC Ministry of the Interior for traffic investigations, Zijad Mutap, father of Alisa Mutap, Dženan's ex-girlfriend, and Josip Barić, investigator of the SC Ministry of the Interior's Traffic Unit, are currently in custody.
However, a new detail in the investigation is certainly the testimony of Ljubo Seferović, who agreed to be a Prosecution witness in this case.
In the Sarajevo Cantonal Court, Seferović was acquitted of the accusation that he hit Alisa Mutap and Dženan Memić,who later died at KCUS, with a van in Velika Aleja on February 8th, 2016. Apart from Ljubo, his wife Vasvija also testified to the Prosecutor's Office of B&amp;H. Their two daughters were also questioned. Many prosecutors and members of the SC MUP are afraid of their testimony.

The Service for Foreigners Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina has undertaken operational activities aimed at controlling the movement and stay of migrants in the Cazin area at two locations, Šturlić and Hadžin Potok, where migrants stayed in makeshift accommodation.

Inspectors of the Service for Foreigners Affairs found 160 migrants at the mentioned locations, among whom were 19 families with 29 minors.
Most of them are citizens of Afghanistan and Iran, and they were relocated, accommodated and taken care of in the temporary reception center Lipa.
Currently, medical examination, identification and registration activities are being carried out, as well as accommodation in the isolation part of the temporary reception center Borići and Lipa due to Covid protective measures. 
During the implementation of these activities, five unaccompanied minors were found, of which the Center for Social Work was immediately notified in order to initiate procedures for determining guardianship and their further accommodation and care.

Among them were 19 families with 29 minors

Germany has blocked flights operated by Russian airlines from arriving in its territory in tit-for-tat action after Moscow failed to provide authorisations for Lufthansa, the transport ministry said Wednesday, amid tensions over Belarus.

Two Russia-bound Lufthansa flights that were due to depart earlier Wednesday from Germany had to be cancelled because Russian authorities did not provide the necessary permits for them in time, said the ministry.
-Due to the reciprocal practice, the Federal Aviation Authority also did not issue any further permits for flights operated by Russian airlines as long as authorisations are pending on the Russian side- it added.
Three Aeroflot flights were affected by the cancellations on Tuesday and another four on Wednesday, said the ministry.
-Once permits for Lufthansa flights are granted by the Russian site, the flights of Russian airlines will also be authorised- added the German ministry.
While the ministry did not specify the reason for the blockade by Russian authorities, some flights operated by European airlines including Air France were cancelled last week after Moscow rejected flight plans that would have skipped Belarusian airspace.
Lufthansa has confirmed that it is no longer flying over Belarus after the EU urged airlines to avoid the country's airspace.
The EU's drastic advice came after the Belarusian regime forced the diversion of a Ryanair plane in order to arrest an opposition journalist on board.
Moscow last week said the cancellation of several European flights to Moscow was down to "technical reasons".

Željka Tomić, the acting prosecutor of the Sarajevo prosecutor's office who is conducting an investigation against Abdulah Hajdarević, suspected of endangering the safety of Senad Hadžifejzović, editor and owner of Face TV, filed a complaint this morning due to the suspect's release, the "Avaz" portal has learned.
The prosecutor appealed against the decision of the Municipal Court in Sarajevo, which imposed on Hajdarević measures banning him from approaching Hadžifejzović, thenewsroom, as well as the measure of mandatory reporting to the competent Police Administration, once a week.

Representatives of the international community in Bosnia and Herzegovina pointed out at today's session of the Interdepartmental Working Group for Amendments to the Electoral Legislation the need for substantial changes in order to strengthen democracy because elections are the basis of any democratic society.

Head of the Delegation of the European Union to BiH and the EU Special Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ambassador Johann Sattler called on the members of the Group to work on amending the electoral legislation in terms of enabling the implementation of Constitutional Court and European Court of Human Rights judgments, OSCE, ODIHR and the Venice Commission recommendations.

This is important to do in order to restore the trust of citizens in the election process, as well as to ensure that it is in line with European standards because numerous, major shortcomings of that process have been noticed.

"Counting each vote without manipulation is the obligation of all those responsible. There is no reason not to make changes to the electoral legislation, which were pointed out by election observers several times," he underlined.
He noted that filling the polling committees is one of the problems that needs to be addressed. There are technological solutions that would ensure greater transparency, as well as training of people involved in the election process, and all these are changes that should ensure the efficiency of the electoral system.
The members of the Interdepartmental Working Group were also addressed by the Ambassador of the United States of America to Bosnia and Herzegovina Eric Nelson, who noted that not everything is expected to be resolved at once, but it is necessary to focus on changes that have a chance to be implemented.
Given the limited time this year when changes to the electoral legislation should be made, Nelson reminded that everything proposed by the Interdepartmental Working Group will be the subject of discussions in the BiH Parliament.
"It is important to make sure that attempts made to make reforms that would reverse the election process and make it less transparent are stopped," he underlined.

Addressing the members of the Group, Head of the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kathleen Kavalec, announced that she would continue to provide professional, technical and logistical assistance in the demanding process and in the work of the Group at all stages.

She said that the OSCE Mission had previously worked with representatives of the Central Election Commission (CEC), who are not part of this Interdepartmental Working Group, on amendments to bylaws, which is the responsibility of the CEC.
She, therefore, asked for them to be included, adding that the CEC must participate in the work of the Interdepartmental Working Group because it is an institution that will implement all reforms that are adopted, and their knowledge would be useful for better solutions.

Austrian Integration Minister Susanne Raab Tuesday defended a contentious “Islam map" amid mounting criticism within the country’s Muslim community.

-This is by no means a general suspicion of Muslims. It's about the common struggle against political Islam as a breeding ground for extremism- Raab told the German WELT newspaper.
Raab launched an Internet website called the "National Map of Islam" last week with the names and locations of more than 620 mosques, associations and officials.
Many Muslims feel stigmatized and their security threatened by the publication of addresses and other details amid growing Islamophobia in Austria, especially in the wake of a deadly Islamist terror attack in Vienna last November.
Islamic Religious Community in Austria (IGGOE), which represents the interests of roughly 800,000 Muslims in Austria, warned against stigmatizing all Muslims living in that country "as a potential danger to society and the democratic legal order in the country."
This campaign is fueling racism and "exposes Muslim citizens to a massive security risk," IGGOE added.
The Muslim Youth of Austria (MJOE) announced over the weekend that they would file a lawsuit against the map.
Reacting to Raab’s statements, the Vienna-based newspaper DER STANDARD warned in an op-ed piece that this map would “not only fuel Islamophobic attitudes” but could “even facilitate Islamophobic acts of violence.”
Meanwhile, the Council of Europe on Monday called upon Austria to withdraw the map.
Publication of the map is hostile to Muslims and potentially counterproductive, Europe’s leading human rights organization said in a statement.
It added the map served “existing resentments” and many Muslims feel it as “extremely discriminatory.”
The statement reiterated Muslims “feel stigmatized and threatened in their security by the publication of addresses and other details.”
The Austrian integration minister also rejected criticism that the map would put representatives of Islam at risk.
-If you now say that you are founding an Islamic association, but you don't want anyone to know, let alone what you are doing and who you are, then that shows exactly the problem: namely, that you prefer to preach in private back rooms.-The map is also in the interests of Muslims who do not want to have anything to do with extremist currents, Raab said.

Turkey has announced new travel restrictions for passengers entering the country in a bid to curb the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.

Under the new measure by the official authorities, passengers departing from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Brazil, South Africa, India, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka will be quarantined for 14 days in locations determined by the governorships, according to a statement shared by Turkish Airlines on Tuesday.
Passengers who have been to these countries in the last 14 days will also be requested to submit a negative result of the PCR test conducted a maximum of 72 hours before entering Turkey.
The flight bans to Brazil and South Africa ended (as of June 1) under this new measure, the national flag carrier stressed.
Passengers coming from the United Kingdom, Iran, Egypt, and Singapore will be required to submit a negative result of their PCR tests conducted a maximum of 72 hours before entry.
Passengers from other countries will not need to submit a negative PCR test result and not be quarantined if they have been vaccinated at least 14 days before the entrance to Turkey and/or have had the disease and recovered within the last six months.
-If passengers departing from these countries cannot submit a vaccine certificate or the documents proving that they have had the disease according to the stated rules, submission of a PCR negative test result made maximum 72 hours before the entrance to Turkey, or negative rapid antigen test result made maximum 48 hours before the entrance to Turkey will be deemed sufficient- it said.​​​​​​​

The United States Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Eric Nelson talked today with the Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina and leader of the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD) Milorad Dodik about the appointment of Christian Schmidt as the new High Representative in B&amp;H.

Nelson emphasized the US support for the new High Representative in B&amp;H and the vital role of the OHR in implementing the Dayton Peace Agreement.
