Acting on the order of a prosecutor from the Special Department for Organised Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption of the Prosecutor’s Office of B&amp;H, police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency - SIPA arrested four suspects in the area of Zvornik. 

The investigation was conducted in cooperation with colleagues from the Republic of Serbia, and is aimed at detecting and breaking up organised smuggling chains which, by smuggling illegal migrants across the river border on the Drina River and further across the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina, acquire a large amount of illegal property gain and at the same time endanger the security situation in B&amp;H caused by the influx of illegal migrants.
The activities were carried out by SIPA, with the support of the RS Ministry of Interior, the Intelligence-Security Agency of B&amp;H (ISA) and the Service for Foreigners' Affairs of B&amp;H.
The suspects are under investigation and are charged with acting as members of an international group for smuggling migrants, which is suspected of smuggling more than 100 migrants from the Republic of Serbia to Bosnia and Herzegovina in the past period.
Searches are underway at several locations, and after the criminal investigation, the suspects will be handed over to the case’s prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina. 
The suspects are charged with the criminal offence of Organising a Group or Association for Smuggling of Migrants, referred to in Article 189a, in conjunction with the criminal offence of Smuggling of Persons, referred to in Article 189 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina. 
At the same time, five members of the said group for smuggling migrants, including the suspected organiser, were deprived of freedom in the territory of the Republic of Serbia. 
This coordinated international operation was conducted together with the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Serbia - Service for Fight against Organised Crime, under the auspices and with the support of the Southeast European Law Enforcement Center - SELEC, announced the B&amp;H Prosecutor's Office.&nbsp;

Pakistan on Monday announced a three-week extension of the ongoing COVID-19 restrictions in order to stem the rising number of cases in the country.

-The government has decided to continue the current restrictions until April 11- Federal Minister for Planning Asad Umar said.
The decision to extend the restrictions was taken at a meeting of the National Command and Operation Center, a government agency that deals with anti-virus strategy, presided over by Umar in capital Islamabad, according to a statement.
The meeting, it said, expressed "grave" concern over the country’s current COVID-19 situation and unanimously agreed to implement "high impact intervention" in cities with positivity greater than 8% to contain the disease spread.
The restrictions include "broader lockdowns" with no mobility allowed except for emergencies.
Indoor dining of any kind will continue to be prohibited. Outdoor dining will, however, be allowed until 10:00 p.m. local time (1700GMT). All commercial activities will be closed by 8:00 pm local time (1500GMT). In addition, non-essential commercial activities are closed for two days each week.
Other restrictions include, ban on indoor gatherings, sports events and festivals, and closure of cinemas, shrines and amusement parks.
However, outdoor gatherings of up to 300 persons, will be allowed.
Moreover, the 50% work-from-home policy will be maintained, with intercity public transportation and rail service operating at 50% and 70% capacity, respectively.
The number of COVID-19 cases in Pakistan has risen to 630,471 with 13,863 deaths and 583,538 recoveries, according to the Health Ministry statistics.

Director of the B&amp;H Border Police Zoran Galić held a meeting today with Security Minister Selmo Cikotić and associates and discussed the preparations for a new wave of migrants which is expected soon.

On that occasion, they discussed the situation at the state border and the measures that need to be taken in connection with illegal migration, with an emphasis on the eastern border where the greatest migration pressure is and the Una-Sana Canton, where most migrants are.
Speaking about the activities carried out by the Border Police in the fight against illegal migration, Galić said that all the capacities of the Border Police are maximally focused on the protection of the state border.
-Our biggest problem is still the lack of staff, so we are trying to compensate by redeployment and internal relocation to the eastern and northeastern part of the border, and members of other police agencies have been engaged to help the Border Police. In addition to all the other problems, we have the situation with the covid-19 virus, there have never been greater challenges for the Border Police than in previous years- said Galić and thanked Minister Cikotić, who was engaged to find funds for the B&amp;H BP.

Nesad Džaferović said this in an exclusive confession for "Avaz".
Salko Džaferović was killed in a car accident on September 19th, 2013. in Sarajevo by Zaim Kurspahić, the father of the current Chief Disciplinary Prosecutor of B&amp;H, Alena Kurspahić-Nadarević. Nesad Džaferović, eight years after his father's death, told "Avaz" that he has been fighting for justice for years. Unfortunately, to no avail. Zaim Kurspahić was not criminally liable.

- Zaim's daughter Alena Kurspahić-Nadarević is now the chief disciplinary prosecutor, and Dalida Burzić, the former chief cantonal prosecutor, is her good friend. I mentioned her everywhere, I mean Alena - Nesad reveals for "Avaz", talking about the reasons why an investigation into his father's death was not conducted.
The Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office, according to a matrix reminiscent of the case of covering up the murder of Dženan Memić, has been refusing to conduct an investigation against Zaim Kurspahić for years. Nesad says that the answer from the SC Prosecutor's Office, headed by Dalida Burzić, now a judge of the State Court, reached him in three sentences.

- Federal Prosecutor Dragan Stupar "criticized" them on several occasions. I have a complete correspondence, in which Prosecutor Stupar states that they did not conduct the investigation well, that is, that they did not conduct it properly, and sends them a letter to re-examine. In their response, they stated to me that there were no grounds for prosecuting Zaim Kurspahić, they stated that he had not taken a circulation pill, that he had lost consciousness at the moment. But he hit my father on the sidewalk. So it didn’t happen on the road, but on the sidewalk! Their allegations were refuted by the question of the prosecutor Stupar - where did the traces of braking come from? How can instantaneous loss of consciousness occur? How can one lose consciousness for a second or two and then gain it again immediately - asks Nesad Džaferović.

He also revealed to us that he reported everything to the Office for the Fight against Corruption of the Sarajevo Canton.
- I sent a letter to the Office for the Fight against Corruption, more precisely to Erduan Kafedžić. The man who answered me is called Damir. They replied that an independent body had been formed to investigate all allegations of non-investigation, ie the response from the SC Prosecutor's Office that there were no grounds for criminal prosecution. I am encouraged by the fact that Eric Larson is now an anti-corruption advisor in the Office - says Džaferović.

<h2>He wrote to the Prime Minister of SC</h2>

On the other hand, Džaferović has high hopes for the Prosecutor's Office of B&amp;H. Chief Prosecutor Gordana Tadić, after five years of obstruction by lower-level prosecutors, intensified the investigation into the murder of Dženan Memić from Sarajevo in the „Memić“ case, but also the murder of David Dragičević from Banja Luka in the „Dragičević“ case.
This is exactly what encourages Nesad, who, after eight years of cover-up, believes that Chief Prosecutor Tadić could launch an investigation into his father's murder. Nesad emphasizes that he also called Muriz Memić, the father of the murdered young man Dženan.
- So far, I have not contacted the State Prosecutor's Office. I see big changes happening. I will call, I have nothing more to lose - adds Nesad Džaferović.
He says that, after his father's death and the decision not to conduct an investigation, he wrote to everyone.
- I do not remember who the Prime Minister of the Sarajevo Canton and the Commissioner were at that time, but I also contacted them (the Prime Minister was Suad Zeljković from the SDA, and the Commissioner was Vahid Ćosić, also an SDA staff member, op. cit.). There was no answer. I am not asking for anything but court proceedings. If that cannot be assured to me, then this is not a state governed by the rule of law. I just want the rule of law. What did I fight for, to experience that no criminal proceedings were initiated because someone is someone's father? I want the investigation to be revised and criminal responsibility to be reached - Džaferović points out.
According to available information, Alena Kurspahić-Nadarević was actively assisted by the director of the Intelligence and Security Agency, Osman Mehmedagić Osmica, in the case of covering up and avoiding prosecuting her father. This also reveals the reason for the complete loyalty and servility of Chief Disciplinary Prosecutor Kurspahić-Nadarević to ISA Chief Mehmedagić and his political mentors in the action of overthrowing Chief Prosecutor Gordana Tadić and preventing the discovery of Dženan Memić's killers.

Kurspahić-Nadarević is part of the political-intelligence-judicial-prosecutor octopus. The key role in everything is played by Mehmedagić, who is also under numerous investigations by the Prosecutor's Office of B&amp;H, but also by unconfirmed and confirmed indictments before the Court of B&amp;H.
In avoiding justice, covering up cases and removing traces of his illegal actions, but also the illegal actions of his people in the judicial community, Mehmedagić also makes extensive use of his friendship with the President of the Court of B&amp;H, Ranko Debevec.
In return, Kurspahić-Nadarević, as the main disciplinary prosecutor, repaying the debts to the head of ISA,has been keeping in the drawer for more than a year, a thickly documented report against Debevec for hiding his identity, not declaring assets worth millions abroad in his property card, and legally inadmissible possession of dual citizenship of Spain and B&amp;H.

<h2>Kafedžić: We have received the report, a team was formed</h2>

In a statement for "Avaz", the head of the Office, Erduan Kafedžić, confirmed that the Office for the Fight against Corruption of the Sarajevo Canton had received a report from Nesad Džaferović from Sarajevo.
- We act upon the report, we check the allegations. For each case, when we assess whose jurisdiction it is, we form a team to act on the case, and the same is in this case. We also have cooperation with the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council (HJPC) of B&amp;H, a decision will be made to appoint a person outside the Office of the Disciplinary Prosecutor (UDT) who will act on the report - Kafedžić explained to us.

<h2> What is the role of a good friend Dalida Burzić</h2>

Then Chief Prosecutor of the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office, Dalida Burzić, and today a judge of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, a good friend of Alena Kurspahic-Nadarevic, took an active part in covering up the murder of Salko Džaferović, as, according to Muriz Memić and the lawyer of the family Ifet Feraget, she worked for years in the case of the murder of Dženan Memić.
Namely, on November 9th, 2015., she spoke for the Faktor portal about the case of Salko Džaferović's death.
She said there is no evidence that in this case there is a cause-and-effect relationship between driver's behavior and pedestrian death!?
- According to the findings of the traffic expert, we determined that it is indisputable that the driver drove 20 kilometers per hour over the limit, but that speed is not the cause that the car flew over and ended up on the sidewalk in an incredible way - said Burzić.
In addition, the prosecutor adds, the traffic expert determined that the cause of the car's bounce was an uncontrolled step of the driver on one of the pedals and "this is weak evidence, which does not go to trial."
- We have determined that there is not enough evidence, based on the expert's findings, and that the speed higher by 20 kilometers per hour is not a reason why the driver would be charged. You have everyday injustices, which someone experiences more or less easily, and the profession is here to say the last word - concluded the then Chief Prosecutor of the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office Dalida Burzić.

<h2>Pressure to release Mutap and Dupovac</h2>

The pressure on Chief Prosecutor Gordana Tadić was motivated by the desire to release Zijad Mutap, the father of Alisa Mutap, who was with Dženan at the time of his murder, and police officer Hasan Dupovac. By releasing them, the organizers of the chase against prosecutor Tadić hope, the whole case of the investigation into the murder of young Dženan Memić would fall apart, and the perpetrators, the executors of the murder and those who help them not to answer for the crime, could be relieved.

<h2>How Alena progressed to the most powerful position in the B&H judiciary</h2>

Alena Kurspahić-Nadarević was the Deputy Chief Disciplinary Prosecutor in the Office of the Disciplinary Prosecutor of B&amp;H in 2013., at the time of the murder of Salko Džaferović, in which her father participated.
Since 2008., Alena Kurspahić has been performing the duties of a disciplinary prosecutor in the Office of the Disciplinary Prosecutor of the HJPC B&amp;H.
By the decision of the HJPC B&amp;H of 13th of June 2016., she was the acting Chief Disciplinary Prosecutor.
Previously, in the Office of the Disciplinary Prosecutor of B&amp;H, since 2011. she has been the Deputy Chief Disciplinary Prosecutor.
During the session held on April 1th2 and 13th, 2017. in Sarajevo, the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of B&amp;H made a decision on the appointment of Alena Kurspahić to the position of Chief Disciplinary Prosecutor of the Office of the Disciplinary Prosecutor of the HJPC B&amp;H.

What is the role of the Chief Disciplinary Prosecutor of B&H: The same team is covering up another murder

Far-right and neo-Nazi groups are increasingly using major social media platforms to recruit young people, a new report revealed on Monday.

-The British far-right is now digitally-led and reflective of online culture – traditional structures have given way to social media platforms, influencers and ‘citizen journalists’ creating peer-to-peer radicalisation and a global community willing to crowdsource ‘micro-donations of time and effort- anti-racism group Hope Not Hate (HNH) said in its annual State of Hate report.
Nick Knowles, the chief executive of HNH, said in the report regarding the use of social media platforms that “a fertile recruitment ground for young neo-Nazis has been Instagram – its inadequate moderation and worrying algorithm recommendations are child protection issues that demand urgent action from the platform.”
The British Hand and the National Partisan Movement, two relatively new far-right groups, are known to be actively using Instagram and the messaging app Telegram to recruit members into its ranks.
Three teenage boys, who are allegedly members of The British Hand, are currently facing trial on terrorism charges.
COVID-19 and the ensuing lockdowns have played an important role in shifting right-wing extremism from the UK street to online platforms. HNH found that younger groups have found it easier to transition from operating in the street to exploring technology for their own collective gain while older and traditional groups have been left behind.
-The lockdown has had a profound effect on every part of our society and it’s no less the case on the far-right. Traditional organisations were already on the decline but lockdown exacerbated their inactivity- Knowles said, adding that -the new organisations and collectives that are emerging understand how to operate in this decentralised, self-directed environment.-The study also found that the traditional far-right in the UK is currently at its weakest as a right-wing ideology has shifted into the political mainstream following the election of Boris Johnson as prime minister and Brexit. Mainstream politicians and commentators are now using language and rhetoric that was only used by the far-right in an attempt to embrace such narratives and win support.
Importantly, however, people sympathetic to the far-right cause are more likely to be influenced by certain individuals and figures rather than the actual ideology.
-The far-right has moved from being built around organisations to being built around people, and this has been amplified by our digital age. Tommy Robinson and Nigel Farage are examples of a new generation of far-right personalities.-​​​​​​​
HNH described the government’s counter-extremism strategy as outdated and said it is in urgent need of an overhaul. The group has also urged social media giants Facebook and YouTube to take more effective action in banning far-right extremist groups from using their services and that the government proscribe these movements as terrorist organizations.

UKCRS suspends surgical procedures and the work of reception clinics

The Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, together with the British Embassy in B&amp;H and partner institutions, started a five-day military course "Women, Peace and Human Security" today, conducted by lecturers of the 77th Brigade of the British Army.

In order to comply with epidemiological measures, the course is held through an online platform, and participants were addressed by B&amp;H Minister of Defense Sifet Podžić, British Ambassador to B&amp;H Matt Field, Chief of Staff of the AFB&amp;H Colonel General Senad Mašović, Commander of NATO Headquarters in Sarajevo Brigadier General Eric Folkestad, and Director of the Agency for Gender Equality of B&amp;H Samra Filipović-Hadžiabdić.
Speakers emphasized that UNSCR Resolution 1325 "Women, Peace and Security" promotes gender equality, improving the status and greater representation of women in defense and security institutions and organizations, as well as promoting gender equality in international peacekeeping operations.
It was pointed out that B&amp;H is the first country in the region to adopt the Action Plan for the implementation of UNSCR Resolution 1325 and one of the 19 countries in the world that have adopted it.
It was also stated that the MoD and the AFB&amp;H take into account gender equality within all units, as evidenced by the fact that in all units up to the battalion level there are contact persons for gender issues.
On the way to the implementation of the Resolution, the Chief of the Joint Staff of the AFB&amp;H, Colonel General Senad Mašović, hosted a regional conference "Women, Peace and Security" in Sarajevo in 2019, organized for the first time within the Chief of Staff Network.

AstraZeneca's Covid-19 vaccine is 80 percent effective at preventing the disease in the elderly and does not increase the risk of blood clots, the biotech firm said Monday, following its US phase III efficiency trials.

It was 79 percent effective at preventing symptomatic Covid-19 in the overall population and 100 percent effective at preventing severe disease and hospitalization, it said.
Several countries had advised against administering the jab to older people due to a lack of data among elderly participants in previous trials. Earlier this month several countries also paused use of the AstraZeneca shot over fears it may cause blood clots.
The US phase III trial of the vaccine developed by AstraZeneca and Oxford University involved 32,449 participants, with two thirds receiving the jab, the pharmaceutical firm said in a statement.
Around 20 percent were 65 or older, and about 60 percent had health conditions associated with a higher risk of severe Covid-19, such as diabetes, severe obesity or cardiac disease.
-These findings reconfirm previous results observed in AZD1222 trials across all adult populations but it's exciting to see similar efficacy results in people over 65 for the first time- said Ann Falsey, professor of medicine at University of Rochester School of Medicine and co-lead principal investigator for the trial.
-This analysis validates the AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine as a much-needed additional vaccination option, offering confidence that adults of all ages can benefit from protection against the virus.-The trial's independent data safety monitoring board found no increased risk of thrombosis among the 21,583 participants who received at least one dose, the statement said.
Some leading EU countries have resumed AstraZeneca vaccinations after the European Medicines Agency said Thursday the jab was "safe and effective" and was not linked to an increased risk of blood clots.
AstraZeneca said it was preparing to submit its findings to the US Food and Drug Administration to authorize the shot for emergency use.
-These results add to the growing body of evidence that shows this vaccine is well tolerated and highly effective against all severities of Covid-19 and across all age groups- said Mene Pangalos, executive vice president of biopharmaceuticals R&amp;D.

"Daily avaz" will publish an exclusive confession of <a href="https://avaz.ba/tag/112381/nesad-dzaferovic">Nesad Džaferović</a> from Sarajevo in tomorrow's issue, in which he talks about the details of the murder of his father Salko, as well as the cover-up that followed, and whose main actors are individual judges, prosecutors, intelligence officers...

On September 19th, 2013, Salko Džaferović was killed by a car in Sarajevo by Zaim Kurspahić, the father of the Chief Disciplinary Prosecutor of B&amp;H, Alena Kurspahić-Nadarević. Nesad Džaferović, eight years after his father's death, told "Avaz" that he has been fighting for justice for years. Unfortunately, to no avail. Zaim Kurspahić was not criminally liable. - Zaim's daughter Alena Kurspahić-Nadarević is the chief disciplinary prosecutor, and Dalida Burzić, the former chief cantonal prosecutor, is her maid of honor - Nesad reveals for "Avaz", talking about the reasons for not conducting an investigation into his father's death. The Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office, according to a matrix reminiscent of the case of Dženan Memić's murder, refuses to conduct an investigation against Zaim Kurspahić, who killed Salko Džaferović in the Sarajevo neighborhood Stup while driving a Cherokee jeep and hitting him on the sidewalk. Nesad says that he reported everything to the Office for the Fight against Corruption of the Sarajevo Canton.- Eric Larson is now an anti-corruption advisor in the Office - says Džaferović and adds that he has already received an answer from the Office - they have formed an independent body to investigate everything related to his father's death. Nesad emphasizes that he will also report to the Prosecutor's Office of B&amp;H, headed by Gordana Tadić, and that he has previously contacted Muriz Memić, the father of the murdered young man Dženan. After five years, prosecutor Tadić intensified the investigation in the "Memić" case, as well as "Dragičević". This is exactly what encourages Nesad, who, after eight years of covering up, hopes only for prosecutor Tadić and believes that she will launch an investigation into the murder of his father from the deadlock, just as she did in the "Memić" and "Dragičević" cases.

- So far, I have not reported to the State Prosecutor's Office. I see some changes happening. I have nothing more to lose - adds Nesad Džaferović. Kurspahić-Nadarević was actively assisted by the director of the Intelligence and Security Agency, Osman Mehmedagić Osmica, in the case of covering up and avoiding prosecuting her father. This also reveals the reason for Kurspahić-Nadarević's loyalty to Mehmedagić in overthrowing prosecutor Tadić and preventing the discovery of Dženan Memić's killers. Kurspahić-Nadarević is part of the political-intelligence-judicial-prosecutor octopus. Mehmedagić, who is under numerous investigations and indictments, plays a key role in court proceedings and prosecutorial charges. He has the help of his friend, the President of the Court of B&amp;H Ranko Debevec, in everything. At the same time, Kurspahić-Nadarević, as the main disciplinary prosecutor, has been keeping&nbsp;&nbsp; in the drawer for more than a year, a thickly documented report against Debevec for hiding his identity, not declaring assets worth millions abroad in his property card, and legally inadmissible possession of dual citizenship of Spain and B&amp;H.

<h2>Why Avdo Avdić never published the story</h2>

Nesad Džaferović told our paper that half a year ago he carried documents to the journalist Avdo Avdić to publish the story. This information was confirmed for "Daily Avaz" by the Prosecutor's Office of B&amp;H. The cases were formed on the basis of several charges against disciplinary prosecutors. The case was also formed against the Deputy Chief Disciplinary Prosecutor Mirza Hadžiomerović.

Every country has the sovereign right to choose its own security arrangements, it was said for "Avaz" from the NATO headquarters in Brussels, in response to the warning of the Russian Embassy in B&amp;H that Russia will have to react in case of practical rapprochement between B&amp;H and NATO.

Bulgaria on Friday detained six of its citizens in the capital Sofia accused of spying in favor of Russia.

Chief Public Prosecutor Ivan Gesev said six Bulgarian citizens, members of different government bodies, were detained for allegedly spying for Russia.
-We must be proud of our intelligence. We have not achieved such success since the communists came to power in 1944. Our intelligence is a source of honor- said Gesev.
Gesev noted that the detainees are soldiers and bureaucrats from the Defense Ministry, military intelligence, and other government bodies.
-We are not enemies of Bulgaria, we are patriots. We do not sell our country for coins. We love our homeland without hating any state- Gesev added.
The spokeswoman of the Office of the Chief Public Prosecutor, Siyika Mileva, said the head of the organization arrested by the operation was a former senior military intelligence officer and was trained in Moscow.
She added that the head of the organization is in contact with personnel who have access to confidential information in the Defense Ministry.
It was also noted that these six people have received money from Russian diplomats in an envelope.
Bulgaria had expelled six Russian diplomats by declaring them "persona non grata" on espionage charges.
Last December, Russia's Military Attache in Sofia Vasiliyi Sazanovic was deported.
