The Prosecutor's Office of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton opened eight cases related to the election process in B&amp;H, all of which have been activated and are currently being verified. They are being handled by several prosecutors who have been put in charge through an automatic case assignment system.
The competent prosecutor's office has formed eight cases concerning the local elections in Mostar, held in December last year after a 12-year-long period without the elections in that city in southern Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Prosecutor's Office of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton is currently investigating the allegations stated in the reports that were submitted to this institution.
The institution recalled that, according to the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council, the cases concerning the election process in Bosnia and Herzegovina are a priority in the work of every prosecutor's office in the country.
The HNC Prosecutor's Office strongly dismissed what they called “insinuations and untruths” presented through some media outlets, about the activities in these cases being aimed against or at the expense of any ethnic group or political entity, refusing to comment on them.
"Monitoring of the work of prosecutors' offices in BiH in these cases is performed by the OSCE Mission to BiH and the competent Prosecutor's Office reports once a week to the competent Office of the OSCE Mission in Mostar on its actions in the already initiated cases, i.e. all the new cases," it is said in the statement from the HNC Prosecutor's Office.&nbsp;

Namely, some of them presented cases in which Izetbegović directly or through an intermediary sought jobs for Jasmina. The "Akta" portal recently published information about the business of Izetbegović's daughter's company, which still has one employee.
- Although she tries to avoid her father's influence, judging by the financial reports, her agency has strengthened as Bakir's political career has grown - Akta portal stated.

However, the Akta.ba portal claims that this did not prevent the owner of this agency from, despite the weaker business, affording a 117.63-square-meter property in Bolnička Street in Sarajevo.
The price of a square meter in a newly built building, as stated by this portal, is 4,500 - 5,000 KM, so she had to pay almost half a million KM for this apartment, if she bought at those prices.

She is of the opinion that "it constantly happens that indictments are issued by the Prosecutor's Office of B&amp;H, which in a way represent the war that the Prosecutor's Office is waging against certain politicians" and that she is "very happy that the indictment verification institute is being used". This position of lawyer Nožica is very much expected, considering that the party in the procedure, ie defending Osman Mehmedagić, is before the Court of B&amp;H.
One of the interlocutors was the President of the Court of B&amp;H Ranko Debevec, otherwise a friend of the accused director of ISA B&amp;H Osman Mehmedagić. The case of his inappropriate contacts with Mehmedagić, which is documented by photographs taken in a doorway in Sarajevo, has already been formed by the Office of the Disciplinary Prosecutor of the HJPC B&amp;H.
In his views, in which he praised the decision of the Court of B&amp;H, no interlocutor, including Ranko Debevec, mentioned the fact that he was privately hanging out with the accused before the Court of B&amp;H Osman Mehmedagić. However, Debevec used the opportunity to point out that the media violate the integrity of the Court of B&amp;H and that he has no influence on deciding in cases, and does not even know when cases come to court, as prescribed by the Law on the Court of B&amp;H.
Debevec forgot to explain exactly how many judges are working on confirming the indictments and who exactly set them, that is, who assigned them that report. He blamed the media for having a "discrediting plan" and putting pressure on the Court of B&amp;H to make illegal decisions, deliberately forgetting to mention that the "discrediting plan" was the publication of his compromising photos and information about associating with indictees and senior SDA staff.
All praises on behalf of the Court of B&amp;H were expressed in the same text by the member of the Presidency of the SDA, Dževad Mahmutović, only he was signed as a "professor at the Faculty of Law, University of Tuzla". The SDA staff praised Ranko Debevec, stating that the Court of B&amp;H has proved that it is independent and that it is at the service of the "public and state".
Interestingly, the rejection of the indictment was also approved by the former SNSD delegate in the House of Peoples of the B&amp;H Parliamentary Assembly, Krstan Simić, but Simić commented as a "former judge of the B&amp;H Constitutional Court". It was the chairman of the B&amp;H Council of Ministers, Zoran Tegeltija (SNSD), who proposed the re-election of Mehmedagić as the director of the ISA, and the SNSD is the SDA's coalition partner in power at the state level.

The reasons for applying are that someone's property status cannot be the basis for determining anyone's rights and fundamental freedoms, which is not in accordance with the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as international conventions that are an integral part of the constitution, such as the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms and as many as 15 international conventions that are part of Annex I of the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
As it was said, in such an environment, in which one's property status is the basis for granting the right to residence, it is extremely discriminatory and creates opportunities for a large number of citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina to be left without other rights arising from the registration of residence, such as the right to work, education, health and social insurance and other rights.
“Five years of implementing the disputed provisions of the Law on Residence and Stay of B&amp;H Citizens, it became known that a large number of citizens would lose their previously acquired right of residence, and thus their legal personality within the legal system of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is inadmissible. For these reasons, this request for constitutional review/compliance with the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina is completely different from the one that was the subject of review by the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2015, i.e. this is a completely new request for constitutional review of the Law on Residence and Stay of B%H Citizens, with a different legal basis and factual situation. I want to believe that the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina will prove to be an institution that protects human rights and fundamental freedoms and will not allow the continued implementation of controversial provisions of the law, which may deprive previously acquired rights,” said Komšić.
