Users who feel that harmful posts, photos, videos, comments, and shares remain online will be able to appeal to the panel to have it removed

The Facebook Oversight Board has expanded its mandate to consider requests from users who believe harmful content has been allowed to remain on the platform

It was the latest move responding to concerns about inappropriate contact between adults and children on the platform

Instagram is also looking at ways to make it more difficult for adults who have been exhibiting "potentially suspicious behavior" to interact with teens, including restricting these adults from seeing suggested teen accounts

The U.S tech giant said it would also ban all “Tatmadaw-linked commercial entities” from advertising on its platforms
