Serbia will begin vaccinating people against Covid-19 on Thursday, President Aleksandar Vucic said Wednesday, making the Balkan state one of the first in Europe to launch a campaign with the Pfizer-BioNTech shot. 
Officials said Serbia has received nearly 5,000 doses of the vaccine, which is already in use in the United States and Britain.
Meanwhile European Union countries plan to roll out the vaccine on December 27. 
-Vaccination starts tomorrow in Serbia- Vucic told the press, adding that the first jabs would go to the elderly in retirement homes.

Minister Cikotić stated in the letter that he "understands the dissatisfaction and distrust of the citizens and institutions of Bihac and the USC due to some earlier unfulfilled promises in resolving the migrant crisis."
- However, in the new situation, it is expected that all USC and Bihać government officials will take an active role in implementing the decisions of the B&amp;H Presidency, the B&amp;H Council of Ministers and the B&amp;H Ministry of Security in the best interest of the USC. It was especially emphasized that after equipping and opening "Lipa", the camp "Bira" would be permanently and finally closed - it is stated in the announcement.

A Turkish court on Wednesday sentenced the exiled former editor-in-chief of the opposition Cumhuriyet daily to more than 27 years in jail on charges of aiding a terror group and espionage.
The court found Can Dundar -- who fled to Germany in 2016 -- guilty in connection with a story about an alleged Turkish arms shipment to Syrian rebels fighting President Bashar al-Assad.

It found 37 journalists imprisoned this year -- less than half the number arrested in 2016 around the time of the coup attempt.
Dundar's lawyers boycotted Wednesday's hearing because they did not believe they would get a fair trial.
Dundar was jailed in 2015 along with Cumhuriyet's then Ankara bureau chief Erdem Gul over the paper's report on the alleged transfer of weapons to Syrian insurgents on trucks operated by Turkey's MIT intelligence service.
The pair were released in February 2016 thanks to a Constitutional Court ruling which said their 92-day detention violated their rights to liberty and freedom of the press.
The report was accompanied by a video and deeply angered Erdogan. The Turkish leader warned Dundar that he would "pay a heavy price".
The Cumhuriyet daily's reports have often irritated Erdogan's government and its staff have regularly ended up in court. 
The country's oldest daily -- which means "Republic" in Turkish -- was founded in 1924 and remains one of the few media outlets not controlled by government-allied tycoons.

When asked if this is a call from BH bloc to form a coalition and appoint a mayor together, Radončić said:
- I think that's the way to do it. Here we have the inevitable HDZ factor. I do not think that the HDZ should be excluded from power anywhere where you have a large representation of Croats in the electorate and I expect a compromise and agreement between all.
Radončić said that he had a meeting today with the president of the SDP, Nermin Nikšić, and that we should wait for the votes to be counted and the mandates to be determined, and then to talk.
- I think that we from the Coalition must sit down and create a common platform for this coalition led by Mr. Nikšić and HDZ. It must not be the decision of Mr. Izetbegović, Radončić, any of us in a way that is negotiated individually on behalf of the coalition. I also think that it would be politically fair and wise to leave Mostar to the people of Mostar. What I said the day I went to Mostar, Mostar in two means the division of B&amp;H into three. These are very responsible people, I mean the members of our coalition, both Nikšić and HDZ. I really expect that we will get a new government in Mostar that will start removing those strong ruins, a government that will deal with the construction of the city, that will deal with a new relationship between Bosniaks and Croats. He added that "people from the HDZ watched the thefts that took place in the so-called Bosniak political space with a lot of disinterest. And now you suddenly have a very violent reaction."
- It happened to me two or three times, it's not a problem. The problem is that together, and, unfortunately or fortunately, the situation is such that it cannot change the Election Law without legitimate representatives of the Croatian people, even in the technical sense, not only the one they insist on, to see who votes, why do the dead vote ...

Speaking about Izetbegović's statement that he is in the destructive phase, Radončić said that he had already reacted in that regard.

- I'm quite embarrassed to speak because I was part of that story. I must tell you that I was previously a member of the Council of Ministers which was really representative. There was Mr. Lagumdžija, Nović, Mirko Šarović, Mr. Bevanda, there were mega strong players. In this Council of Ministers, unfortunately, there are no such names because younger people are in question, while I was there, I even felt some dynamism and some cohesion, connecting factor in that engagement, running ... Unfortunately, the last two or three months we do not see any results. So as far as we are concerned, we will vote for the dismissal. We do not have that type of complex - he specified.

<h2>We must restore the sovereignist consciousness of Bosniaks</h2>

Radončić explained his status on social networks, saying that "at the founding Congress of SBB in 2010, he said that we must return the sovereign world to Bosniaks primarily, and even others."

That passed after 24 hours. I work normally now. I can't wait for January 8th, 2021., to receive the second dose, so that I can come to Sarajevo as well - Arnautović points out.
He adds that as soon as he receives the second dose of the vaccine, he will feel safer to travel.
- I hope to be able to come in February. I had no doubts about receiving the vaccine. I could hardly wait for the vaccine to be made official and I tried to be among the first to receive it. I am certainly safer now, because the first vaccine, as they say, gives about 52 percent protection - this Sarajevan points out.
Despite various stories and doubts about the vaccine, Dr. Arnautović says he had no fears.
- I believe in American doctors and scientists. They complied with all testing segments. Vaccination is an individual decision, but I have no doubts - says Dr. Arnautović.

He emphasizes that the situation in Tennessee and Memphis is very difficult when it comes to the coronavirus.
- We have a lot of deaths. The hospital is full of critical patients, we are not doing an elective program at all. Tennessee is currently one of the most affected countries, not only in America, but in the world. It is not easy for us, healthcare workers either. I lost many friends, relatives and family members. I am already tired of such news. I can't wait for all members of my family and friends to be vaccinated and for this plague to end - concludes Dr. Arnautović.

<h2>Doctors in B&H are fighting to save as many lives as possible</h2>

- As far as I can see, the situation in B&amp;H is as difficult as anywhere else in the world. Almost every day I hear from doctors from Sarajevo and B&amp;H, with friends and colleagues. The situation is difficult, and they are fighting, like all of us, to save as many lives as possible, to get as many people out of the hospital as possible. B&amp;H doctors should be supported and praised, because they are also completely exhausted, both physically and mentally - says Dr. Arnautović.

The Council of Ministers of B&amp;H has made a decision on the establishment of a temporary center for accommodation of migrants "Lipa" near Bihać. The decision, which was expected much earlier, defined that the tents will be replaced by prefabricated container-type facilities, and the total capacity of the center will be 1,500 people.

However, after the decision on the establishment of "Lipa", the Ministry of Security of B&amp;H sent a proposal to the authorities of Una-Sana Canton to temporarily open the center "Bira" until all construction works for the establishment of a new center are completed.
- That proposal was rejected and by doing so, the USC government should take full responsibility for not accepting the proposal to open "Bira" and the new situation because more than 1,000 migrants will be on the streets of the USC and thus create a humanitarian and security crisis for the local population.
This position of the Ministry of Security, headed by Minister Selmo Cikotić, was assessed by the Mayor of Bihać, Šuhret Fazlić, as unprincipled, inconsistent and hypocritical.
- They are asking us to allow "Bira", and at the same time the Council of Ministers is voting against the opening of the center in Živinice. One center "Borići", another hotel "Sedra", the third "Lipa", are now looking for "Bira". The European Union is doing the same, the complete responsibility is shifting to us. We will not allow the opening of "Bira" because then in a month "Bira" and "Lipa" would be full and there would be 1,000 migrants around "Bira" - said Fazlić.
By the way, no one knows how hundreds of migrants who live in "Lipa" in very difficult conditions until the construction of new facilities will survive.

The next move of the IOM is expected, but the decision of the Council of Ministers was welcomed as a precondition for a big job to be completed before the rains. The manager of the "Lipa" camp, Nataša Omerović, reminds that it was a tent center at about 1,400 meters above sea level. It occasionally housed up to 1,600 migrants, but currently has 1,307.
- The construction of the camp was not even made to withstand the winter. No power supply, six aggregates work 24 hours a day. We are not connected to the water supply network. At the moment, there is a fear that there will be precipitation, that the tents will collapse and someone will be killed - Omerović points out.

The icon that the chairman of the Presidency of B&amp;H, Milorad Dodik, gave to the Russian chief of diplomacy, Sergey Lavrov, was not stolen and consecrated icon belongs to the family, it was announced today from Dodik's office.
- Salvos of fabrications and untruths followed the wrong initial media presentation that this is an icon that is part of the cultural heritage and national treasure, which has not been established anywhere. This is confirmed by the fact that even seven days after the presentation of the gift, there is no confirmation that the icon is on the list of missing icons, or that anyone is looking for it, or that it is part of anyone's cultural heritage, but despite that, the spread of untruths continues – it was stated from the cabinet of the chairman of the Presidency of B&amp;H.
The cabinet emphasized that the donated icon "has its market value, but its value is, above all, reflected in the fact that it is a consecrated Orthodox icon of a great saint, which is very familiar to every Christian."
- After the chairman of the Presidency of B&amp;H Milorad Dodik presented a gift to the head of Russian diplomacy Sergey Lavrov, numerous incorrect allegations and false accusations were made in public by certain media, so-called experts, high officials of B&amp;H, and even individuals from Republic of Srpska. No one and nothing, and the least disgusting untruths can spoil the fraternal relations between the two Orthodox nations, as well as the relations between the Serbian member of the Presidency and the political leadership of Russia - Dodik's cabinet said.
As we wrote, after the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of B&amp;H received a note from the Embassy of Ukraine, which requested additional information about the mentioned case, a case was formed in the Prosecutor's Office of B&amp;H.
The intention is to clarify how the icon which is 300 years old and from Lugansk, arrived in B&amp;H and ended up in the possession of B&amp;H official.
In the meantime, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia announced that the mentioned icon would be returned to B&amp;H in order to clarify its origin.
