Bosnia and Herzegovina was rocked by a scandal yesterday when the Federal Police Administration (FPA) arrested four Bihać police officers for having sex with a 15-year-old girl.

Due to the sensitivity of the case, experienced FPA investigators, in cooperation with the USC Prosecutor's Office, approached the investigation carefully and collected a lot of facts that cover the basis of suspicion in this torturous crime. Members of the Ministry of the Interior of the Una-Sana Canton are charged with the criminal offense of sexual intercourse with an incapacitated person.
- Considering that this is a very complex and sensitive case, all information related to it will be provided by the Prosecutor's Office of Una-Sana Canton, under whose supervision the investigation in question was conducted. Assistance during the activities to the members of the Federal Police Administration was provided by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the USC - it was announced from the Federal Police Administration.
The girl was examined at the Bihać hospital, where the injuries were found. The Center for Social Work in Bihać was also informed about everything, and it took certain measures to protect the girl and return to normal life.

- The suspects will be handed over to the acting prosecutor today, who will decide on further measures and actions in a specific case - said the USC Prosecutor's Office.
So far, the initials of the arrested police officers have not been revealed, and the case was allegedly reported by the girl's family. The case reportedly happened in a cottage, where police officers took the girl and sexually abused her.

We learn that this case, apart from the residents of Krajina and Bihać, where the arrested police officers worked, also shocked the members of the Ministry of the Interior USC , who were surprised by this information.
Allegedly, these four were previously under special measures precisely because of dishonorable actions.

The President of the Party of Democratic Action, Bakir Izetbegović, has demonstrated political inconsistency on several occasions in recent years, on some of the most important issues for the people and the state.
It is not uncommon for politicians not to keep their word, but only a basic analysis of media appearances shows that Izetbegović proved to be a "champion" in that discipline.

The most recent example is the "Zvizdić" case, in which Izetbegović threatened his party colleague that he would see his real face because he directed public criticism at him, and then only a few days later stated: "I am never in favor of respectable and capable people to leave the SDA and it is a wrong approach that the SDA is planning something against Zvizdić.” But this is perhaps the mildest example, and we will list only a part of the similar ones.
When it comes to the phenomenon of "said and denied" and problems with facts for Izetbegović, for Bosnia and Herzegovina, its reputation and citizens, it was especially disastrous when, when he as a member of the Presidency, on February 17th, 2017, in the Sarajevo City Hall organized a "Conference on the verdict of B&amp;H against Serbia", taking advantage of the presence of prominent people and deliberately misleading them, where he triumphantly announced that B&amp;H, through its agent who still has a mandate, will initiate a revision of the lawsuit against Serbia for genocide.
However, on March 9th, the International Court of Justice in The Hague rejected the request for a revision of the lawsuit, which caused an unprecedented international and domestic disgrace to Bosnia and Herzegovina. To make matters worse, it was revealed that the Tribunal informed Sakib Softić in May last year that it did not consider him an agent of B&amp;H, which Izetbegović and his associates knowingly kept silent about. Due to the whole case, the Prosecutor's Office of B&amp;H opened a case against Izetbegović in August of the same year.
At the beginning of last year, Izetbegović announced that he would file an appeal to the B&amp;H Constitutional Court for the abolition of the RS name in six months if "the situation does not improve". There is nothing of that yet, and it is hard to say that the situation has improved.
- We will leave a certain deadline and give a chance for relations to improve. Relations towards B&amp;H, according to its constitution, territorial integrity, according to the laws we passed together (...), towards Bosniaks, towards Croats, towards returnees - Izetbegović said in February last year.
Of course, although information is widely circulating in the city that he spent the war period in the vault of the Central Bank in B&amp;H, Izetbegović is also creative when it comes to interpreting his war role, so someone coldly told the Turkish screenwriters of the "Alija" series that he was wounded in the war, which ultimately found itself as a scene in the series, causing hilarious laughter and disbelief among B&amp;H citizens who were instructed in Izetbegović's war role. In his public appearances, Izetbegović Jr did not even consider his own father, so in an interview for the Muslim television Igman, which he gave on May 23rd this year, he presented himself as a greater war leader than his own father.

Izetbegović also untruely presented the real value of his villa in Poljine, which has a swimming pool and is guarded by the police, and it was especially comical for the citizens of B&amp;H when, in an interview for N1 on September 9th this year, he said that he knew very well life in material poverty, corroborating this by stating that in six months he "lived on eight thousand marks." And when it comes to SBB leader Fahrudin Radončić, Izetbegović swore in front of the public that he had nothing to do with the arrest or the attacks on Radončić.
However, his former party colleague Aljoša Čampara in an interview given at the end of October this year revealed that Izetbegović was behind the instructions that he should deal with Radončić, saying that he no longer wanted to be a sword in someone else's hands.
During the trial in Kosovo for drug trafficking against Naser Kelmendi, Izetbegović accused Radončić, among other things, of "betraying B&amp;H" with his testimony, in an interview with "Faktor", published on November 29th, 2020, for an unnecessary trial that was against Radončić, precisely in connection with the trial in Kosovo, claimed that he "caused damage" to the state.

At one time, Izetbegović marked the appointment of Ranko Debevac as the President of the Court of B&amp;H as an anti-Bosniak act and conspiracy, and now he publicly said that he did not trust the Prosecutor's Office of B&amp;H, but that he trusted the Court. Of course, whether Izetbegović told the truth when he first promised to create 100,000 jobs, and later claimed that he fulfilled that promise, we will leave to the citizens to judge for themselves.

But this is already a serious intra-Bosniak issue.
There is no place in it for informers, genocide deniers and "adders" of xenophobic balls.

2,346 samples were reported to the Public Health Institute of the Federation of B&amp;H, of which 472 were positive for the virus. New cases have been registered in all cantons in the Federation of B&amp;H. A total of 329,743 samples have been tested so far, and the virus has been confirmed in 69,935 cases.
In the past 24 hours,430 patients recovered.There are currently 17,260 active cases. 17 new deaths were reported to the Public Health Institute of the Federation of B&amp;H.
During the last 24 hours, 838 laboratory samples were tested in Republic of Srpska, and coronavirus was confirmed in 233 cases. At the same time, 18 deaths were reported as a result of COVID-19.
The RS Institute of Public Health announced that 133 men and 100 women were infected, of which 36 were younger, 121 middle-aged and 76 older people.
In the last 24 hours, the Republic of Srpska Institute of Public Health has reported 18 deaths in which the presence of coronavirus has been confirmed. From these, there are 13 men and five women, middle-aged and older, of whom three are from Banja Luka, two from Laktaši and Doboj and one each from Zvornik, Novi Goražde, Foča, Prijedor, Prnjavor, Mrkonjić Grad, Bijeljina, Ribnik, Kneževo, Čelinac and Teslić.

69 infected persons, ie 59.48 percent of them, belong to the family clusters or are contacts of the previously infected, and they are already in self-isolation.
At the same time, 177 persons recovered from COVID-19, which is a data that still confirms the continuation of the positive trend, according to which a higher number of recovered persons was registered in Canton Sarajevo compared to the number of newly infected persons. 198 people are hospitalized at the clinics and in the Isolation of the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo at Podhrastovi (140) and the General Hospital (58), of which six patients use mechanical respiratory support during breathing.
There are 20 patients on non-invasive ventilation. One death was registered, so that the number of deaths from the consequences of COVID-19 was increased to 359. Currently, 1,676 cases of coronavirus infection are active in the Sarajevo Canton.
From January 30th to December 23rd this year, a total of 23,613 people infected with coronavirus were registered, of which 21,578 recovered.

All that is left is melted and distorted steel constructions of tents and beds. In one of the burning tents, the fire from the wooden floors is still smoldering.
As we find out, since there was moisture and a lot of wet things from the migrants in the tents, it is suspected that they had to use gasoline or another flammable liquid.
It is interesting that all the fires were started in the places where the fuel for the cannons that pumped hot air stood, which indicates that everything was planned.

As workers clear what is left of the camp, hundreds of migrants stand by waiting for what will happen next.

Ischgl alone says it spent 700,000 euros ($853,000) on Covid-19 safety measures, now boasting its own Covid testing stations and a lab, and monitoring waste water for traces of the virus.
Neighbouring Switzerland has allowed some ski resorts to open, but the industry there has been hard hit by quarantine orders slapped on British visitors, who normally make up a large part of its clientele, as well as a flight ban from the UK.

Romanian MPs on Wednesday approved the country's centre-right, pro-European coalition government headed by ex-banker Florin Citu, who has pledged to overcome the coronavirus crisis and the economic woes it has caused.
In total 260 MPs voted in favour of approving Citu's cabinet, with 186 against.
-My government will have two major objectives: getting over the health crisis and getting the economy back on track- Citu, 48, said in a speech to both houses of parliament.
Romania is one of the poorest countries in the EU and the pandemic has exacted a heavy economic toll.
Its vaccination programme launches on Sunday.
Citu had served as finance minister in the outgoing government and has a degree in economics from the University of Iowa in the United States. 
President Klaus Iohannis tasked him with forming a government on Tuesday after three centre-right parties between them won the most seats in elections earlier this month.
The 20 ministries have been divided up according to electoral strength between Citu's liberal PNL, the reformist USR-Plus and the UDMR which represents Romania's Hungarian minority.
However, the cabinet contains only one woman, who has been given the labour portfolio.
Rights groups immediately condemned the lack of female representation.
In the programme the government published on Wednesday it promised to fight poverty and increase Romanians' purchasing power as well as ensuring "sustainable development based on investment and digitalisation".
It also wants to bring the government deficit under three percent of GDP -- it stood at nine percent in 2020.
Delivering on this commitment will be essential to winning confidence among investors and EU institutions.
However, the government has also promised not to raise taxes.
Citu is also committed to taking Romania into the single currency but has not specified a target date for this.
The government has also promised more investment for Romania's creaking health system, which has come under huge strain while fighting the pandemic.
More than 600,000 infections have been recorded in the country of 19 million, with 14,766 deaths.
The government says it wants to change the fact that Romania "has the lowest health budget in the EU".
It has promised to devote 4.6 billion euros of EU cohesion funds to the building of ten hospitals and the refurbishment of around 100 others.
The left-wing opposition Social Democrats (PSD) were less than impressed, PSD leader Marcel Ciolacu branding the government "stillborn".
He accused Citu's administration of "not putting forward any measure that will improve Romanians' lives or for coming out of the health crisis," adding: "Your only goal is to plunder, to kill Romanian agriculture and business."
The PSD came out just ahead of the PNL in this month's elections but lacked allied in parliament to form a government.

The University of Oxford and drug manufacturer AstraZeneca have applied to the UK health regulator for permission to roll out their Covid-19 vaccine, Health Minister Matt Hancock said Wednesday.
-I'm delighted to be able to tell you that the Oxford AstraZeneca vaccine developed here in the UK has submitted its full data package to the MHRA for approval- he said.
-This is the next step towards a decision on the deployment of the vaccine- the health minister added at a press conference where he announced Britain would impose travel restrictions on South Africa to curb the spread of another new, more transmissible strain of the coronavirus.
The Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine was the first coronavirus shot to be authorised for use by the UK's independent medicines regulator and has been given to 500,000 of the country's most vulnerable people since its rollout last month. 
The bulk of Britain's vaccine requirements are expected to be met by the jab developed by AstraZeneca and the University of Oxford, as the government has ordered 100 million doses.

German airline Lufthansa said Wednesday it had flown 80 tonnes of fruits and vegetables to Britain after other links were cut over fears of a virus variant detected in the UK.
-We are considering whether to increase the freight run- a spokesman told AFP.
The airline's freight division Lufthansa Cargo said the fresh produce were usually sent in the hold of passenger flights or using trucks.
But since both routes have been halted by German authorities, the airline had turned to cargo planes to prevent the goods from rotting in its warehouses.
On Tuesday, Germany extended its ban on arrivals from the UK until January 6. Across the EU, restrictions are also in place for British arrivals.
Thousands of truck drivers are stuck in Britain after France on Sunday banned travel from Britain for 48 hours owing to the spread of a new strain of the coronavirus. 
With the cross-channel route widely used for good supplies cut off, fears had grown that supermarket shelves would run empty over the holiday season. 
After emergency talks, France and Britain reopened cross-channel travel on Wednesday but the huge backlog meant it could be days before traffic could run smoothly again.

The Prime Minister of Serbia, Ana Brnabić, gave an exclusive interview for "Dnevni Avaz". Brnabić, among other things, responded to the accusations of the former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Zlatko Lagumdžija, who said that with new measures to enter the country due to the coronavirus pandemic, Serbia introduced "white ribbons" to B&amp;H citizens from the Federation.

How do you comment on the accusations that Serbia has introduced "white ribbons" for the citizens of B&amp;H from the Federation?

- What Lagumdžija talks about is absolutely not true. I really don't know what a man is talking about, and it's not fair to say something like that. The regulation has been made public. Anyone can look at it. We do not make any difference between whether someone is from Banja Luka or Sarajevo. There is no discrimination. It never occurred to us that we had any discrimination. The same conditions apply, this is clearly stated in the Regulation. If someone is from B&amp;H, whether from the Federation or the Republic of Srpska, and has the citizenship of the Republic of Serbia, he must, of course, be treated differently. Just as each state treats its citizens differently. In that case, they enter Serbia and do not need PCR test. If they do not have a PCR test, they go into self-isolation for ten days. After self-isolation, they are free to move, if they are not infected. Of course, they can do it earlier if they do a PCR test and with a negative result, their self-isolation practically stops. That's it. We do not discriminate, no difference between Sarajevo, Banja Luka or any other city in the Federation or Republic of Srpska. This is really an unnecessary raising of tensions, because everything is black and white.
When do you expect the arrival of coronavirus vaccines?
- The first contingent of "Pfizer" vaccines has just landed in Belgrade, at "Nikola Tesla" airport. That's a smaller amount than what was agreed with Pfizer. But we understand because they have reduced delivery to all the countries with which they have a contract. But, in any case, it is enough for us to start vaccination by the end of this year. The professional part of the Crisis Staff is finishing the immunization plan today (yesterday, op. Cit.), so we will start vaccinating in the coming days. This morning (yesterday morning, op. Cit.) around 4,800 doses of "Pfizer" vaccines landed, which is enough for 2,400 people, and we expect some other vaccines soon. We fight the best we can. I think we are the first country in Europe, if you do not count the United Kingdom, to receive "Pfizer" vaccines.

How much space is there for cooperation with B&amp;H when it comes to the procurement of vaccines?
- We are fully committed to cooperation in terms of our foreign policy. We have two key priorities. The first is membership in the European Union and European integration, and the second is regional cooperation, networking and security. In that sense, we tried to help whoever needed any help and support during this pandemic. On the other hand, we tried to create and strengthen our region in projects such as "Green Corridors".

<h2>We will welcome any initiative coming from Sarajevo</h2>

How would you assess the cooperation between Serbia and B&amp;H? How much room is there for progress?
- We are certainly interested in better and closer cooperation with B&amp;H, and that is why I am sorry to see such information, such as the one released by Lagumdžija. As the Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia, I stand by the fact that, whatever initiative comes from Sarajevo, we will warmly welcome it. This is shown by numerous infrastructure projects and these two ends of the highway to Sarajevo, one of which we are building, and for the other project-technical documentation is being prepared. So, anything that can make the region more stable and secure and allow us a better future, compared to what we had, we are open to that.

<h2>The best economic result in Europe</h2>

The IMF has given great predictions for the Serbian economy for this year ...
- In any case, I do not expect that our economic decline this year will be greater than one percent, and I think that we will still maintain these economic results, ie that we will have the smallest decline in Europe and the best economic result in Europe. When I say that, I do not mean only the GDP, but also the situation in the coffers, that is, what will be the deficit, as well as what will be the outflow of public debt in relation to GDP. We fight every day and keep pushing forward.

An agreement by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) with B&amp;H authorities on a new three-year extended arrangement has not yet been reached due to a lack of consensus on reforms that should be part of the program.
This was clearly stated by the IMF after their team of experts, led by Martin Petri, head of the Mission to B&amp;H, conducted online negotiations with B&amp;H officials in the past month.

In other words, there is nothing from the new loan, worth 1.5 billion KM, and new negotiations will be resumed only in the spring. However, it is questionable whether an agreement will be reached, given that RS does not want any transfer of competencies.
Vjekoslav Bevanda, Minister of Finance and Treasury of B&amp;H and a member of the Fiscal Council, who was acquainted with the negotiations, told "Avaz" yesterday that "the issue of a new arrangement with the IMF is the least problem for the authorities at the B&amp;H level because not a single stamp from these loans are not used for the budget of B&amp;H institutions, but those funds go to the entities."
- As the funds from the arrangement with the IMF do not go to the B&amp;H budget, so there are no negative consequences for the financial stability of B&amp;H if this arrangement is not achieved - says Bevanda.

However, he explained that each arrangement with the IMF implies a certain set of reforms, some of which represent obligations for institutions at the level of B&amp;H, which must be implemented after the signing of the Letter of Intent and acceptance of structural guidelines and previous measures.
- During the negotiations, I expressed readiness for B&amp;H to accept the arrangement with the IMF, but the representatives of the entities are the ones who, in accordance with their constitutional competencies, decide what is acceptable for them and what is not, so I do not comment on anyone's decisions or actions in the Fiscal Council of B&amp;H - says Bevanda.

- As for the Ministry of Finance and Treasury of B&amp;H and me personally, I am always ready for a compromise based on the Constitution and laws, but you should know that I am only one of six members of the Fiscal Council and have a clear scope of my work in accordance with legal competencies - said Bevanda.

One billion from the IMF needed by the entities

Although the number of infected people in B&amp;H has been declining lately, the black statistics regarding the number of those who lost the battle with the coronavirus have been worrying for days.
A dramatic increase in the number of deaths was recorded yesterday, and health institutions in B&amp;H reported as many as 86 deaths. Despite certain doubts about the accuracy of the data published in neighboring countries, official reports show that the situation in our country is critical.

Despite the fact that Croatia and Serbia have much more inhabitants than B&amp;H, Serbia almost twice as many, the indicators on the number of deaths that were positive for coronavirus, to put it mildly, are worrying, because from the official reports of the public health institutes of these three countries according to the number of dead, B&amp;H is often ahead of its neighbors.
According to official data, 49 people died in Serbia yesterday, 71 in Croatia and 86 in B&amp;H. The day before, Serbia recorded 47 deaths, Croatia 80, and B&amp;H 52 deaths.
As for the total number of deaths since the beginning of the pandemic, official reports show that 2,782 people have died in Serbia so far, 3,328 in Croatia, and 3,792 in B&amp;H (2,064 in FB&amp;H, 1,610 in RS and 118 in Brčko District).

However, health experts from B&amp;H are not convinced of the accuracy of such data.
One of the most experienced, infectologist Bakir Nakaš, sees statistics as a "story about meat and cabbage", according to which we all "eat" sarma, and points out that he has been convinced on countless occasions that statistics are not accurate, especially those that refer to a hitherto unknown disease.

- There are many unknowns, who and how determined the death, whether an autopsy was performed… People die in any case, and today it is enough to "comb" the coronavirus and say that we died from it. That is why I am not sure that all these reports are completely accurate, not only in Balkans but also in much more developed countries of the world - says Nakaš.
Prim. dr. Ednan Drljević, a specialist infectologist, is sure that statistics in neighboring countries are adapting to events such as the tourist season or elections, and rejects them as unconvincing and false.

- In our country, the number of deaths from COVID is still slightly higher, I am almost certain of that, because people call the doctor relatively late, when there is less opportunity to help them. That could be some justification for why we have a relatively high number of deaths compared to other countries. But I am sure that in the surrounding countries the data are the same as ours. If they are not worse, they are not, for sure, better - Drljević thinks.
